RMT - IceCreamFirm
Happy with this draft. Have every big hitter I want and the 'enablers' in Pope and Brooks I can see having good starts too.
GK: Pope - Looks set to be Burnleys #1, the enabler
DEF: Robertson - Obviously
DEF: Zinchenko - Mendy looks out for the first 4-5 weeks and think Zinchenko will lock down the spot permanently by then
DEF: Coleman - Great fixtures for the first 10 weeks and great returns end of last season
MID: Sterling - Obviously
MID: KDB - Think it's safest to start with him and then I can downgrade if it doesn't work out. Good placeholder for Mane too.
MID: Sigurdsson - Again, great fixtures for the first 10 weeks and on penalties
MID: Brooks - Some great early fixtures in a team which will score goals
STR: Salah - Obviously
STR: Kane - Great home fixtures, think many will regret sleeping on him
STR: Vardy - Leicester will come out guns blazing this season, can see them finishing top 6-7.

Re: RMT - IceCreamFirm
How/why is Pope no.1?
Hasn’t played for a year and didn’t play in their recent friendly.
Coleman hasn’t been that great for ages.
Has Brooks been playing pre-season? Back of my mind think I read he was injured.
Only 6 European players?

Re: RMT - IceCreamFirm
Talk is that Heaton is almost certainly off, probably to Villa, and Pope is thought of as their future #1. Almost every draft I've seen on Fiso and Reddit for the official FPL has Heaton so one to watch.
I'd rather Digne than Coleman but Evertons fixtures couldn't really be much better for the first 10-12 weeks so worth a punt there.
Brooks had a slight ankle twist the other day but was said to be fine - many saying it could be his breakout season.

Looks like Heaton to Villa is confirmed - https://twitter.com/jpercytelegraph/sta ... 52032?s=21
I’m considering downgrading Vardy to King/Perez to allow upgrades to Coleman and/or Brooks. What’s the consensus on Matip vs Gomez?

Burnley play 3 of last season's top 7 in the opening 4 fixtures. Might be better waiting till after the international break when their fixtures improve and the downgrade your thinking from Vardy to king that 1m could be used to upgrade Pope to Pickford to start with, then see how it starts to pan out.

Re: RMT - IceCreamFirm
With Brooks out for up to 3 months I’m actually looking at Barkley as a punt. Played unreal tonight and took the penalty with Jorginho on the pitch. He seems the sort of player Lampard would really like so could be a steal at 2m.
Gives me the below, though I’m still tempted to downgrade Vardy > Perez and use the 2m to upgrade Coleman/Pickford.
Pickford
Robertson Zinchenko Coleman
Sterling KDB Fraser Barkley
Kane Salah Vardy

Ended with the below after the addition of Pepe at 3.5 was too good to turn down.
DDG
Robertson Zinchenko Coleman
Sterling KDB Pepe Barkley
Salah Kane Wilson

How many points you expecting from him?itslikebrandnew wrote: ↑31 Jul 2019, 11:37Great enough that he'll outscore his pricetag easily. I like the pick. The problem will be getting all non Euros to Euro players in time.

Re: RMT - IceCreamFirm
50pts a million would only make it 125pts and i think he could do even better than that.Zimmerman wrote: ↑05 Aug 2019, 17:29How many points you expecting from him?itslikebrandnew wrote: ↑31 Jul 2019, 11:37Great enough that he'll outscore his pricetag easily. Re: RMT - IceCreamFirm
Did he even make 100 last season?
31 starts (2 goals / 2 assists)
He’ll be lucky to get 100 points is my prediction.

75 points in his last 11 games though Zimm. However the loss of Gueye could impact massively.

Re: RMT - IceCreamFirm
Defence is so last year, all out attack the way to go ,Everton didn't start to well last year and Coleman had just returned from massive injury may explain the late surge, he and Everton may well be back up to speed from the start this year with a favourable fixture run
