Thought so many CYKI Fa Cup teams transferring Tevez in at the beginning (which led me to pick him) knew something I didn't. Obviously they haven't a clue either (or was it a cunning ploy on their part).

I think you'll find you're top because there are a lot of us who deliberately (?) picked players we knew who wouldn't play

This competition is going to be a complete waste of time as too many players who you would expect to play, haven't and I can see this continuing in future rounds. Why the hell didn't benni mcarthy play? Blackburn are poop and certainly not good enough to rest their best players for a competition that offers them a lifeline.

It is luck but therefore is not necessarily a waste of time. If you get the luck in the first couple of rounds you'll have a decent score going into the latter rounds where you can more accurately pick a team. I haven't been able to check my score yet (anyone fancy posting the current league standings here? ) but my decision to make picks for the next round depends on how lucky I've been so far.

I can understand and would expect the top teams resting the likes of Ronaldo, Cech, Anelka, Adebayor, Reina etc but it makes me laugh when teams who have no chance of winning anything else such as Villa, Portsmouth, Man City and Blackburn think they can afford to leave out their best players such as Agbonlahor, Defoe, Ireland, Robinho and McCarthy. Villa and Blackburn did get through but only just, Portsmouth failed to score and Man City got hammered. These sorts of teams should be going all out to win the FA cup as it's their only realistic chance of silverware so should be putting out their strongest teams. I just don't get it.
