how can your remaining transfers vanish at 12.30 on the 31st of a month. its still the 31st for the 3.00 and 5,30 games so they are talking out of their arses in my opinion.

I would be 99pct sure you can use any excess transfers all day tomorrow assuming your players haven't played and then its 50/50 if you could use any left still after all teams have played and up until receiving your new batch on the 6th.

the thing that has always worried me about this sort of thing is that players unduly close to those running the games can gain an edge.

that of course assumes possibly quite erroneously that they know what the programmers have put in themselves

That's always been obvious despite the odd post in this thread doubting this.

They can change their T&C when it doesn't involve any work such as a few new words in their T&C to cover their mistake on changing player values before the end of week 3 (or whatever it was originally) but for any DT manager to think that the Sun idiots are CAPABLE of re-writing the software IN A FEW DAYS to change the timing of transfer use requires the sort of stupidity which suggests that the manager concerned should be employed on the DT Help Desk.

If I had to guess, I would think the content writer got mixed up with the Weekender, where cut off is first weekend game (Man U).
It would seem very weird for the month’s transfers to stop on the first game of the weekend?

If it is true, then only reason they would put this out is if their software has messed up, maybe like the first week price changes?

There is absolutely no similarity whatsoever between the first cock up and a DT writer's implied suggestion of "end of transfer month" error. Their software doesn't seem too bad, and it has successfully operated the end of month transfer issue successfully since last year. By comparison the pre-mature increase in player values would have been due to some human prat inputting new player values when he shouldn't have done, thereby forcing the mini change to the T&C. I'd guess that their software writers are reasonably intelligent compared to their office boys running the game from day to day and writing nonsense.

There is no way a prat will be updating player values individually and manually.

That too will be automated.

That still failed... hence the update Ts and Cs.
My guess is they tried to fix last years balls up where it went up by 0.3m after three weeks, but the fix didn’t get implemented (or tested) sufficiently.

The miscommunication about transfers being lost and as just another case of unskilled/unqualified staff and or game ignorance. As you say, that element of the game has been working fine for 2 seasons.
