It was originally going to be just for 2018/19 FISO elite league entrants but I’ve changed it to anyone who is a FISO member as of yesterday 4th May so regular contributors such as Dot, Ricky ‘the closer’ Rosa, fat frank etc who didn’t enter elite league can compete too.
I can’t be arsed with people PMing me with their team etc so it’s going to be as simple as possible; you enter your DT weekender team as normal and whoever finishes highest on the DT leaderboard May 12th will win the £200 (as long as they have been a FISO member before yesterday May 4th AND importantly post on this thread your name as it will appear on leaderboard, your DT weekender team name and your FISO user name eg
NAME....Danny White
DT WEEKENDER TEAM NAME.... MADCHESTER UTD
FISO NAME.... MADCHESTER UTD
NAME.....Simon Davis
DT WEEKENDER NAME.... NAGS HEAD ROVERS
FISO NAME....CBN etc etc
Only by doing the above BEFORE May 12th 3pm will your team be eligible for the £200. Basically this is so in say 4 months time someone sees this thread and says “hang on a minute, I got 73 points that final weekender and I have been a member of FISO since 2011. I want my £200!”
(Not saying this would happen but it’s best to have clear guidelines to stop any future hassle). If 2 or more people get joint highest score then I’ll just split the £200 by the number of winners eg if 2 winners get 67 points then they will get £100 each etc. Hopefully though there will be just the 1 winner
I am also eligible to win so I too get some excitement on last day of season
I’ll post on here at 3pm May 12th and any entries after that post will NOT be eligible for the prize (was going to ask one of the mods to put a temporary lock on the thread at 3pm May 12th but then that would prevent any potential banter once matches start).
I realise with the season already over for 99.99% of Fantasy players that numbers of entrants might be scarce as probably not that many will be logging in to FISO to see this thread but hopefully we get at least 20. If for whatever reason there isn’t a DT weekender May 12th then comp is null n void and I’ll put £200 to next seasons elite pot instead.
