Best defender for rest of february?

Post by Gunner786 »

Currently got laporte doherty robertson.

With liverpools upcoming fixtures bar bournemouth im thinking shipoing robertson out while hes still 5m. Might reduce tonight.

Chelsea have city then malmo then united.
City have chelsea then newport county so danilo's an option.

Any tips?
Im 110 points behind my mini league leader and we have the same defence.

Liverpool 4 games - 2 clean sheets a reasonable expectation
City 5 games - 3 clean sheets a minimum expectation - but who do you back to play in 4/5 besides Laporte (who you have). Danilo should be nailed for Newport... but what about the other four fixtures?
Chelsea 6 games - 2 clean sheets - but who will play against Malmo? Will anyone play both?

You could (if intent on ditching Robertson) keep him for this week, THEN move him on

So you could get

Bournemouth at home before switching to a City or Chelsea player (so you get 5 potential games)?
Im not sure Chelsea fixtures look at that amazing? Maybe thats a blessing. Keep it tight against top opposition?
Who knows.

Otamendi or danilo both seem tempting.
Alonso or azpilicueta.

Even united defenders

Great post.

Does the guy your chasing have Jesus? Could be a great differential for the Newport game, transfer In and out or else hold as he will likely play Schakle due to league cup final.

Jesus will play against Newport you would think.

Aguero against Schalke and then the League Cup is whoever Pep sees best for the day depending on tactics, fitness etc.

Jesus featured more in the league cup than Aguero and arguably Aguero wouldn't have played against Burton in the 2nd leg had it not been to get some fitness. He only started one other match against Leicester in the competition. I don't know if Pep has been loyal to those that got him to the final in the past but I would be thinking Jesus could get the nod.

I'd go for
jesus v Newport
Aguero v schalke and subbed after an hour for Jesus
Aguero v Chelsea

Arsenal defenders? Tell me what you see that makes them a viable option?

Think again 😂

They haven’t got any defenders capable of playing more than two games in a row and have kept like 2 clean sheets all season.
