Re: Points
Keeps the game alive and more wide open like it was meant to be trick is to swap that Liverpool block for a city one at the right time or vice Versa but as the season goes by I can see more rotation with players like Lovren, Kompany and Otamendi being used. The best time to swap the blocks was early in the season and lots of people near that top have prospered from that and got the good leads.

Re: Points
Certainly woudn't be giving hope yet, Think Coutinho scored like 5 goals in 2 games to propel me late November.
There are 27 teams in current top 100 without Hazard the best of them in 1st and 7th don't even have a transfer left this month not to mention teams in Europe having 4 games left this month.
There's plenty of players not appearing in bulk of top 100 that can easy bang in a Hat-rick or brace this month.
It's what I keep telling my son who is beginning to lose the faith after falling about 100 behind, then again he has done some strange transfers along the way ( Holding useless prick)
My best team is only 756 FFS and I ain't given up especially knowing the amount of less experienced managers above me, even if that sounds condascending.
There is also alot of luck in the game and I feel a few thousand above have used their seasons worth up already

Re: Points
Can safely say Holding has not even entered my thought process once or any arsenal defender for that matter haha. Although I can understand the pressures of bringing in differentials. I’m trying to keep things more simple this season and not chase the differentials and hope some of the higher up managers slip up with using to many transfers to soon instead. Saying that though I have Vardy in my best team but he was in there before my team was doing any good anyway.

Oh dear, bad mistake for my Elite team!!!!

Re: Points
So not top at Christmas but am happy with my progress and have made the top 100
60th place in fact on 1208 points.
Which considering how bad last week was for me and seeing where I was on the 7th of December just shows how quickly you can rise (and fall I guess) at the top of the table.
I had two megaw weeks before last and had circa plus100 points each week.
For me it's all experience as normally I'm a chaser and whilst I do have a flexible plan I know how easily things can change.
Next goal for me is to 50 which I want to be st by the end if the year.
How you guys getting on?

Re: Points
42nd but getting murdered by Hazard. 13 points for a deflected goal midweek quite the choker.
Outside chance for a third top ten finish on the bounce. That would be some feat.

I think you've got a much better chance than you give yourself credit for. You've obviously got a great pedigree in this game.
Only 28 points behind the top 10 and not yet at the halfway point. All to play for...best of luck.

Re: Points
Well Played Ricky and Simon, it is a good Time to be marching up the Table. Got to be honest I was keeping an eye out for a Nags Head to be in the Top 100 and didn't think it was happening and then Bang there you were in the Top 100. Pretty amazing seeing as you have been there for the Last couple of Years. Dots post about a Month ago where he said he hasn't given up even though he was quite a way of the Pace gave me a little bit of inspiration for my Teams, especially as he Won the Thing Last Year. I did have a Couple of good weeks after that and got up to 600th But way back down again and all over now I feel Hope you Two and all Fisoers with a Shout nail most of their Last Lot of Transfers, as I guess that is what it will pretty much Take from here on in.
Good Luck and Merry Christmas to everyone on Here

Surprisingly doing ok sitting 76th, high last weekend of 22nd, dropped to 110th , before Ali, Kane scored.

Re: Points
150th in the sun (with Dalot) shocking choice Although I have a team in 279th place (Chelsea block) which I’m hoping does well and I’m happy with my best team in TFF which is 2900th but has shit loads of transfers left and is a mint team. Hoping to get top 100 in that this season at the third time of trying....

I think a few hopped off the Liverpool train onto the City train, at the time looked obvious ...I’m guilty, costing me big time too
Well done Danny , keep smashing it mate !
