How is Jesus highest rating player in this game. 1 goal and basically nothing else. Came off 77 mins or so too.

Sterling 3 assists, should have had a pen, was a constant threat and played full 90mins.

Jesus sterling
Total shots 2 6
On target 1 2
Goals 1 0
Pass accuracy 90% 88%
Passes 32 45
Long balls 1 0
Through balls 1 0
Aerials 1 1
Touches 44 68
Fouls 0 3
Dribbles won 1 3
Tackles 1 0
Assists 0 3
Minutes played 79 90+

Sterling was less effective infront of goal. But he had more touches and more dribbles won which usually scores highly. He got 3 assists one for Jesus goal. He made more passes. For me just on the eye watching the match Jesus didn't do an awful lot. Took his goal well but didn't do much else.

3 assists surely has the same if not more scoring value than a goal. So where do we reckon Jesus won the rating? A tackle? A long ball?

Could be something positional;

Jesus making 29 passes (91% accuracy) outweighing Sterling’s 40 passes (89% accuracy) from midfield??

He also won 3/3 duels (whatever one of those is) sterling won 4 of 13.

2 key passes (sterling made 4)
1 tackle (sterling 0)
3 interceptions (Sterling 1)
0 disposses (Sterling 1)
0 fouls (sterling made 3).

Could be, don't think we will ever truly understand how it works. Maybe Sterling loses points when he would fire wide a half chance rather than passing it.

Moved Lukaku to Sterling 2 games ago which has made me 12 points. Need a few more goals from him these next few games.

Salah could also miss the rest of the season if the FA come down in him for the incident yesterday . Will he be charged with violent conduct I wonder ?

Interceptions scores big in ratings for strikers I think, his rating shot up before he was taken off for one of his actions, can't remember what it was.

I know we get people knowing the Liverpool starting lineups a day or so before kickoffs on here and are always 100% correct but does anyone know how to get the Man Utd starting lineups a day or so early? Sick of second guessing Mourinhos backline as he’s always tweaking it.
