World Cup DT 2018
England win 1-0 away to the Netherlands,1st win over there since 1969.
Thats 3 CS in a row vs Brazil,Germany & now Netherlands.(3 superpowers)...given the opposition in Englands group, might be worth banging in some England defenders??
Or maybe not,cos when the tournament starts,as per, we'l probably just fall apart

Watched Germany v Spain tonight and must say that both side look a million miles better than England. And neither side was really playing out of 2nd gear.
Only England player il be considering is Kane.

Kane performs as badly at international tournaments as he does in the month of August.

That can all change. He's matured as a player and performing consistently. That said it's only a consideration. Many strikers out there will be better in the game.

Anybody know/got any guess's when this will be launched?
Couple of weeks (thurs 31st May) before the tournament starts maybe??
How long before jpk gets hold of the secret site/player prices?

All countries have to submit their provisional squads for the World Cup by May 14th, I'd imagine Dreamteam will take a week to price them all up, incidentally, final squad deadline is June 4th.

I don’t mind banging something together if no one else wants to create a league.DAREEL wrote: Anyone running any cash leagues or is this question a bit premature ?
Best to wait until the game is launched to start a thread.

Re: World Cup DT 2018
Haha no problem at all mate. I hardly set the game on fire. It's really hard in the DT to come back once you go behind to good players so it's all about how you start and we didn't start well lol. Next season maybe ...

Looks good. I like the 20 transfers whenever rather than the three per phase. Great prize pot.
Now, does klose still play up top for Germany and is David villa still Spain’s striker

Re: World Cup DT 2018
Here are some more details from the full webpage ...
https://www.thesun.co.uk/dream-team/fan ... out-rules/
Note one major change is that game is now open worldwide, but only UK players eligible for prize money. This isn't a move to bolster the sun's brexit (boo, hiss) credentials, more that this suggests (imho) they might actually make some checks from now on - re i.d., d/o/b matching that on original entry etc. to stop multi entrants perhaps, and especially another tamgate scenario. They of course want as many page hits as possible, but will also be very aware that recent law changes are strict, and Tabcorp (the aussie company in charge of sun bets) came under fire re the recent piegate incident, and don't have a good record to put it mildly. On top of that, the new GDPR laws come in to effect on may 25th - this could be very good news in terms of stopping multi-entrants, who could spend as much time as they like entering teams and thinking they are winning, but won't be paid out. Am also thinking that even previously legitimate players in eire (many of whom are colleagues on this site) might find it less possible to play in this game, and maybe from now on altogether, let alone players from elsewhere. Worth looking into.

Just out of interest if you win a prize what do you have to send them for proof?
Passport numbers? Recent correspondence to a uk address or ni number or what?

Re: World Cup DT 2018
Recent win with (i think) one of the sky games did require photo id, so that's a scan of passport or driving licence. Have also had to send similar to other ff comp sites, it seems to be standard practice of late.

Re: World Cup DT 2018
Yeah with a competition so short and 3 games a day it wouldn't really be logical. I'm sure there will be teams maybe playing twice in the one gane week and stuff so could be all over the place.lfc71 wrote: ↑09 May 2018, 11:31Not seen any mention of player price changes, maybe for this comp prices might be frozen (would probably make things too complecated tbh)....then back to normal again for the seasonal??MADCHESTER UTD wrote: ↑08 May 2018, 16:48 It’s here everyone
