Re: Christensen replacement , £3.9m budget ?
Before the next set of transfers City and Spurs have 6 games, United have 5 and Liverpool have 4 (Spurs and Porto away being 2 of those).
Poch rotates his wingbacks and Toby might be back to take Sanchez out of the running at 3.8m.
Jose throws money at his attacking 2 then bitches about only having 8 fit defenders (who he slags off anyway), no value there.
Liverpool should just stick Milner in front of the back 4 or put him in goal, he can't do a worse job than the other jokers. No value there.
Leaves us with Pep, who plays his first team in every game, or brings the ones rested on for the last 10mins just so they don't get the hump. Walker is only 3.8m because Whoscored automatically drop Man City defenders below 7 when they concede a consolation goal, no matter how many they win by. But you already have Walker.
Mawson should go up in price over the next few weeks and should nick a fair few points along the way. Ake only has 3 games to Swanseas 5 easyish games
So for me Pope/Christensen to Fabianski/Laporte+0.1m would be my first choice although Fabianski/Mawson+1.8m or Ederson/Mawson+0.6m could do equally as well.

Cheers mate , nice breakdown , really helpful .
Looked at Ake and Bournemouth and before Chelsea hadn't kept a clean sheet for 12 games . Only kept 2 clean sheets at home all season

No worries, Arsenal players only manage 1 game a week anyway due to all the running away from fans so they were easily discounted.
Sideshow Bob was the only Chelsea alternative and Conte hates him + they've got Barca-Utd-City-Barca in a couple of weeks.
Stephens was worth a look (most likely to pay off 1.2m in Feb) but 4 games (1 against Liverpool) seemed less likely to pay off than Swansea points wise.

Admittedly Spurs have to beat Newport at home to get 6 games this month but with Arsenal vs Man City being moved to midweek both teams have 3 x league games and 3 x Cup games this month.
3+3=6 I think?

Good if you want a big striker or midfielder and budget is tightshakermeister wrote: ↑02 Feb 2018, 19:01Mmmm, interesting , will have a closer look . Cheers .
In and at the end of the month if Christensen is back for March I could afford to swap him back ?

Thanks for all the help guys. I've gone with Ederson and Mawson . Think Man City are prone to rotation in the back line at the moment with so many games . Was thinking Fabianski but he doesn't appear to be playing cup. games.
Probably City and Swansea will now concede !
Anyways, good luck all

Il happily take a score that he won't get more than 3 star mans in the remaining games. If your talking about him getting a starman you are obviously talking more than 1 or 2 right?

Your right he is a must have given his price. There's no better at that price. I'm banking on Spurs have Vertonghan and Davies. And hoping United start to leak a few goals.
