Can't see this being won without some Liverpool Midfielders/Forwards in your Team. They just have the ability to score Goals for Fun. Salah Vie :)

I don’t think mr Carpenter isn’t feeling so hard done by with all them Otamendi star mans anymore. I honestly think Valencia deserved star man after keeping it for about 75 mins. And I’m feeling a little hard done by

@oldbighead, not anymore, slim outside chance of a late charge but made the mistake of not including Sterling! Still enjoy seeing the unfolding battle at the top, like a good game of chess.

I think you were blessed to get the 13 points for Valencia in the end Biddles. Most people agreed that Pogba was clearly the best player on the pitch. Look at it as a blessing that you scored 21 POINTS on two players that have propelled you up the leaderboard. Man Utd defence were a shambles IMHO.

p.s Good luck for the season.

Included 31st team to squeeze Bloggie in.

Lager Shandy transferred Lukaku to Sanchez in Week 18, then Sanchez back to Lukaku week 19. Week 20 Sanchez signs for United!

Mags10, Xhaka Lacca, Krigs Krakers and Roker Choker all transferred out Hazard before his 18 points haul at Brighton.

CBN - the Salah > De Bruyne switch now seems to make sense.

But your obsession with Otamendi and the sacrifice of De Bruyne not looking so good.

Keeps it all very tight and intriguing at the top.

I don't suppose the top dogs have major surgery needed when February transfers land, so will be mighty interesting to see what moves are made and crucially when.

By March you assume City could be playing their academy guys in PL. I know Pep likes to rack up the points, goals and wins, but surely you'd see some resting and game time for Foden et al.

Bit of a weird post, obsession with Otamendi? CBN took him out in early November and didn't bring him back for 2 months.

And why wouldn't you bring him back, for Man City's Janurary's fixtures and the fact he rates well with whosored/scores/gets star man awards.

Don't see how that is an obsession ?

Maybe a poor selection of word :P

Yes, Otamendi a great pick for all the points you make, but his price had rocketed, so any move to get him back in compromised other big hitters that you then might not have been able to afford (KDB) but also soaked up transfer usage which could have been held or used elsewhere. I think Otamendi's selection in a number of other teams that had gained significant ground on CBN, also prompted the move to net off.

My personal opinion was Lukaku > (back to) Salah would be the move, especially around the time Lukaku clocked a head injury.

But the beauty of this game, is who knows, even now? Kane, Lukaku, Sanchez, Aguero, KDB, Hazard, Sane, Sterling, Salah, Pogba......and a host of other more wildcard options - any of those could make up the most potent 6 for February.

I can’t believe how much he does moan on. He’s got two teams right up there. Try being 5000th mate then you’ll have something to moan about 😂. Hope his mate the millionaire with too much time on his hands has found a hobby.

I like Superiorpinkham's nickhame for him 'Baby Jacycar'

Should take the CBN route and learn to be more humourous rather than edgy, K sera sera.

Stands a genuine chance of 150k, at least try to enjoy it.

May the best man win.

Can’t remember too many with a shot of the big un moaning so much. You know Otamendi gets starman easily for making 100 passes a game so have to be prepared for it if you don’t have him. I’m not saying it’s right it’s just how it is.

Can't remember moaning that often folks. As you know this game can be very stressful, particularly if you're doing OK in it. I'll admit Otamendi has been a great points magnet, and guess his starmen awards have been subjective and open to debate.
I guess it swings in round abouts, as Sterling had a few dubious Starmen too, although there was one which he didn't get that he should have had when he scored a wonder goal, I think the last kick of the match, can't remeber who against.
Otamendi is a transfer possibility for me, just because of the extra games, and if he plummets to an affordable price; don't want to miss out on some dubious Starmen awards.
My latest moan is Mourinho playing Lukaku in every single match, particularly yesterday when he didn't need to.
Took a 13 point hit on transfering him out for Pogba, and without the extra transfer which I would have used.
