Why should Ibra not have an assist for that? Surely its been missed. Annoying as like you say his rating would also then go up. Fixing it after only gets him two points back not the possible 5.

The ball came off a defender after Ibra touched it. No way he'll get that.

Stoke don't get out of their own half all game, Southampton defender star man. Not really dodgy, as we all know how it works by now but does illustrate the flaws in the system.

If a defender keeps a clean sheet should be getting a 7.

Martins indi and Jose fonte neither rated however Shawcross and Van Djik rated.

However when shawcross doesn't play indi is always rated.again my players are keeping solid clean sheets and again no extra points. This game is doing my head in

Lee Grant got star man, not a Saints defender...

Add Cresswell to the list star man on sunday when Mane gave him a tough time, tonight he's 6.4 the lowest of all West Ham players.....maybe there is something in this Simon ??

Let's ask the muppets at whoscored.com. Zabaleta was in contention for SM last night. Goal aside, I thought he was shite.

What have they got against Mane,i've had him in since the beginning and i now reckon that's at least 3 games where he should quite probably have got the Star Man point's.
Didn't really think there was anyone outstanding last night, but i thought Mane must have been in the running and the winning goal might just have edged it,but yet again he's overlooked for a mediocre Milner.

He does little that accumulates 'points' in the algo so relies on assists and goals. Milner does lots of successful passes, lots of burst forward, lots of tackles and interceptions. He also takes corners

The thing was also Ashley Williams was at 7.4 and they conceded a goal and only went to 7.2. However I have had many a defender who's sitting on 7.0 and a goal is conceded and drops to like 6.4.

I believe the issue with Mane is that he runs at players and sometimes gets tackled and concedes possession.

I would say Lovern was best player last night from Klavan. Mane 3rd then Milner from the Liverpool players anyway.

Cheers lads,
Takes some getting the head around all these algo things, probably explains why i've struggled a wee bit this season.

Have Mane myself and its frustrating but with Milner as he gets forward he gains good ratings. As he plays simple non risk passes his % is high whereas Mane is searching for the killer pass.

Milner is getting wide and crossing into the box. He also takes free kicks. He sees a lot of the ball and very ra rely misplaces it because it's a simple pass.

WhoScored and the match centre ratings were all over the place today, didn't match up like most weeks, same for everybody so we'll deal with it !

That's life with this game it's the same as a defender coming on for the last 5 mins in a game his team are losing 3-4 0. Loses points based on if he had played whole game basically

Not on about him losing pts, on about rating moving a good 15 - 20 mins after he left the pitch surely he has no affect on Chelsea conceding therefore his rating should have stayed the same even thow he loses his clean sheet pts
