Very Inconsistant - Official Pointless Midweek Comp

It has been stated recently on these forums that being inconsistant is pointless and scoring steadily is the way to go. Let's prove it!

Find your best and worst gameweeks so far in terms of overall position. Minus the worst gameweek points from the best gameweek points. Highest score wins.

If you're testing for consistency, you really should be looking at variance or standard deviation.

By 'overall' do you mean the number in the 'R' column (gamesweek rank) as I think some have used or in the 'O' column (overall rank) as I have used?

If its the games week rank my entry would be this.

Confusion reigns(?) maybe...

...your best/worst is the score you got from your best/worst placed GW position - not best/worst score. Your best was GW4 (wow you've got so goodies in there Mr Barrell :shock:

) for 61 - worst GW17 at 31.

I think that's how it works

It's the R column we're looking for - Overall GW position - not Overall Overall - check WHATEVER's own scoring and his www to be sure - if he's got his own wrong we've got no hope :wink:

edit: While WHATEVER's got the right points for his worst (45) he put the wrong GW down - it should be GW13. He's not making this easy
