This role is still open and is proving difficult to fill.

Candidate must have a decent portfolio with experience of working with big companies, or fresh out of uni with the relevant degree.

Would love the money, but not willing to relocate and like working from home in my boxer shorts with the heating on full blast :D

I take on contract work but to be honest sounds like a different angle from what I normally do - is remote work completely out of the question? Because there is a brilliant Malaysian based company that is worth looking at who are skilled in such areas.

In fact, a few developers I know including maybe myself could fill such roles but they're all work from home hermits too

My client is ideally looking for someone to work full time (as opposed to contracting) but will go down the contracting route as a last resort.

I would guess that the Malaysian suggestion you made wouldn't be of any interest to him though. But may mention it next time we speak.

Don't suppose you know of any "work from home hermits" that live in Wiltshire do you?

Afraid not - I don't think they've invented an ethernet cable long enough to stretch that far yet - unless you boys have finally got you own t'internet supply down there now :D

There are obviously plenty of options should remote work be available, but appreciate the need for a man on site to be the ideal scenario - if things change let me know and I'll see if any of my leads are worth chasing up .....
