Main team. Obviously kicking myself for taking out Romero just before his rich run of form, and for not putting him in last week. He steps in for Sterne.

USA T Woods $6.0m
USA S Cink $1.9m
ROW KJ Choi $1.8m
EUR J Rose $1.6m
ROW R Sabbatini $1.5m
ROW A Romero $1.0m

Looks like Furyk is going to play...

However, by the sound of it - he doesn't sound all that confident...

"I'm still not 100 percent, but I’m healthy enough to make the swings that I want to. I have the ability. But I’ve had about a week off, and I’m swinging at it terrible right now."

...followed by another!

(However, early impressions are that starting on the 10th is much easier than starting on the 1st)

I wonder if I will be able to retain my crown for this event......

......probably not! Eggs in to few baskets, nto really had the courage to chance my arm apart from team where I lobbed Micheel in. We shall see.

However, I shall enjoy using my 7-wood prize around Kingsbarns tomorrow, where I shall be tackling 2 rounds at someone else's expense 8-)

Well, an up and down first round, that's for sure!

Can't imagine any have Storm  in their OFL/Today's golfer teams, though a few may have struck lucky in golf genius 8-)

Rose looks super smooth, though he bogeyed the last :?

Harrington and Oberholser will hang around I reckon, though not sure about the remainder of the top dozen.

And as for Romero and Cabrera

Romero was the answer!

Good move bringing in Harrington, though.

Neither of the top two have him

How did he manage to get a 10 on a par 3 :?:

6 bogeys from Mickelson doesn't bode to well for me in Longmere, although at +3 he's not that far away from the top 10.

I was watching Cabrera do that. He hit his first into a hedge beside the green that counted as our of bounds, he played his (now) 3rd beyond the green, into OUB again! His (now) 5th went in the water. He then 3 putted! Shambles.

He was really p*ssed off, felt that he should have had a drop after the first shot but 2 officials said it was OUB even though he was arguing that there was a grey area there. Cue abandonment today I wouldn't be surprised.

Blummin' nightmare! Only really Woods, Rose and possibly Choi doing anything for me. New signings Romero, Clark, Stricker and Kelly can probably be written off now. But, hopefully the leaders will stay only around -2 to -3 at best after today.

Only two of my players made the cut, Ogilvy and Appleby. I complained last week about the ridiculous scoring at the Bridgestone Invitational and asked if some of the players were just there for a fun day out. This trend has now continued in the PGA with the likes of Tiger shooting a -6 for the round while others struggle to escape with +12. I know that anyone can have a bad day, but when it happens to 75% of the field it makes me think that the world of Golf has gone crazy.

Woods is just that much more consistant and better than the rest.

been away for the weekend. Decent last day from rose saved a disaster.

Actually moved up to second overall :)

however i am ten transfers and a hundred points behind now. And people stacking up behind me

and only 1 playersa playing this week.
Cant really make any transfers either it is only a single points event and loads of teams only have 1 or 2.

had another 3 missed cuts

On a lighter note......have you guys checked the friends and enemies leaderboard :):):):)

Still planning on catching you in spite of being away and wasting the furyk transfer.

Will be looking at fielding a full 6 players this week

Miles back - lost 100 points during the bridgestone week as was on hols.

300 points behind you!

My tongue was very firmly in my cheek when I talked about catching you

Ideal line up this week will consist of

Van pelt , Choi, Snedeker , P Hanson, Dyson and perhaps a wild card in Steve Webster

equivalent of 13 events left means that averaging 40 points per week is needed from you (Double during double weeks of course) to be in contention.

I am hoping for another weekly prize during a week like this where many will not waste transfers.

:0

Good luck - may be worth getting 1 more player in?

Furyk could now rest for 5 weeks?

hmmmm i do not know how long Jimbo will be out. Maybe a straight swap for Adam scott who showed a bit of form this week.

Tough to say
Choi is the only player tempting me this week .
just gotta ride the storm and see next week i think

It is really close behind me but only 2 guys within 30 points. So i shdnt drop too far this week

Not a good week in the end, despite having Tiger (who didn't?) Interesting you saying about a lot only having 1 or 2 this week. As I have little chance of winning anything, I may go for 6 playing and win the weekly prize!
