Not sure if I have put this in the right place, but I am hoping somebody might be able to give me some advice.

Last season (2009/10) I won a Premier League prediction league competition yet the site haven't paid me the winnings even though it is almost a year later. The site is continuing this season and have a large prize for the winner once more.

I have sent 5 or 6 e-mails (to a number of e-mail addresses) to the site but had absolutely nothing back, even though they send weekly reminders to do predictions each week.

I won a lesser prize the season before (2008/09) and had to chase them for the prize but I did get it before the following Christmas. On that occasion, they did respond to my e-mails.

Has anybody got any advice as to how I could possibly get my winnings?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Make a complaint to the gambling commission?

name and shame mate. Might help solve the problem if others know what we're dealing with here...

Many thanks for your responses, I really appreciate it.

I will send them one more e-mail with your advice included which is basically threatening them. I was so tempted to name and shame, but I get the feeling I will be doing that in any case soon!!

I will let you know of any outcomes, and if anyone has any more advice then please let me know.

Let them know you have posted on FISO.
It is fairly well read and the threat of being highlighted as a bad fantasy sports provider should jolt them into action.

You should,as Barry suggested,name the competition to alert Fiso members to the danger,and also to see if anyone else is playing the same game.

I hope it isn't one I played last season and threatened to report until they promised to apologise publicly on Facebook.

Just an update regarding the unpaid winnings from a prediction competition.

I received a cheque yesterday which was gratefully received and has now been paid into the bank.

Many thanks for your advice as I did threaten them with legal action and I mentioned that I had been speaking to you all on the FISO forum and was prepared to blow the lid on them and it seemed to do the trick as they suddenly began to respond to my e-mails!!!
