More worried about Nani being crocked for two months after that dirty bustard koscielny hacked him down last week.

I think it will be a blessing. He's been teetering on getting ditched all season, but keep hanging on "just in case".

Was a certainty to go at TW3, then got a brace against Wolves.

If he's injured we can remove him without conscience.

Yeh, wasn't he going to miss two months when Carragher "broke" his leg last season?

I can't decide what to do with vermaelen. he's a points magnet when he plays, but he's got a bit of the darren anderton's about him. also I'm getting a little upset with the sun's reluctance to ever give micah richards more than a 6 out of 10 (except for last night!). If only he played for spurs he'd be guaranteed a 7 or 8 every time he played...

gibbs is a bigger sicknote than anderton

No game time for Cahill today, any particular reason for it? I thought he'd have started today. I'm sure once Terry gets his ban Cahill will play alot, but is he going to sit on the bench until Terry's banned? I was going to bring him in but I'm having 2nd thoughts now, will have to see how he gets on in the next two games.

Also Gerrard, has average 4.5 ppg since coming back (matching his last 2 seasons) but didnt play too well today and got subbed. We know what he's capable of but is he still worth taking a gamble on? could make a nice differential.

Thoughts?

I have a feeling that TW4 is all about Suarez.

Yeah the transfer window bizarrely closes on Monday 06 February 2012 at 21:59.

Yet the Liverpool v Tottenham match takes place the same night 20:00 kick off, so will then finish at 21:45 (not including injury time). So if you are looking at transfering in any Liverpool/Spurs players this leaves all of 10 mins to do so, hoping that the website has not crashed! Alternatively will have to do transfers before hand and hope that the player(s) you bring in don't get crocked!

If i am correct the next games are not until the 11th February, so I don't understand why they could not give until even 12:00 the following day to be able to make transfers up to ?

What to do? Keep your team as it is. Thinking too much in this game does more damage than good!

Well what i meant was ... for example i was going to bring in Gareth Bale, and I make the decision to do my transfers before the match. Then Bale goes and gets injured in that game and is out for a month that is now a waste of a transfer. If i had until midday the following day, then obviously i would have waited until after the match and wouldn't have put him in. Alternatively say i had Enrique already in my team and he gets crocked, then if i hadn't already made my transfers I could then take him out. OK i could wait until after the game, but with only 10-15mins before the window closes, there is a possibility that the website may have crashed and then I get to do no transfers at all! All well and good if you have no Liverpool or Spurs players or are not thinking of bringing any in but for everyone that has/is I think its a bit of an unnecessary dilemma, and for those reasons I do not see why the window could not close the following day.

pretty much guaranteed the sites going to explode after that spurs game

the question for those at the top is are they going to gamble leaving it that late :?:

unless of course they have no liverpool or spurs players

Saha -> Spurs. Who is running Tottenham while Harry's in court? Terrible transfer. Crap Striker, has not done anything of note for a long time.

There's a rumour that Everton might sign a Jellyfish. Don't they know that splashing around loads of cash in the murky waters of the January transfer window is a sure fire way to get themselves stung...............................................(tumbleweed).

Seriously though, if Jelavic does leave Rangers and move to Everton that might be a tempting pick. No one else is scoring much at Everton, so if he gets a few then the Sun is likely to award star man everytime they win 1-0.

Speaking as just an average player, I'm bringing in Gerrard for Nani, Van Persie for Adebayor, and Ba for Sturrage.(Got the spare cash) ( Sturridge and Adebayor were gambles at the last window & one before respectively, in an attempt to catch up in the works league. Needless to say they didn't work out too well. Dropped Lampard for Sturrridge too, who then went on to score a few.)

EDIT: PS Nobody tell anyone in my works league that Ba is coming home early. Don't think everyone knows:)

EDIT No. 2: Looks like it's a done deal now.
