Star Man: Beckford

Greg Cunningham's cross was dropped by Kasper Schmeichel but, from just three yards out and the goal gaping, Findley's right-foot volley soared over. Beckford then showed Forest how it should be done as he helped himself to a stunning hat-trick which took him a mere 27 minutes.

His first arrived on the half-hour when Camp pushed out a Lee Peltier cross and Becks sent a diving header into the roof of the net.

Cotterill sent on Lewis McGugan and David McGoldrick for Boateng and Greening at the break — but all four together would not have stopped Beckford.

The striker made it 3-0 within five minutes of the restart when David Nugent nodded on Schmeichel's clearance and Beckford ran through to dink the ball in.

He wrapped up his hat-trick after 57 minutes as he bundled in a rebound after Camp blocked his first effort.


That must be 30 points for Beckford then.....oh wait!
