Just a rant really.

Booked a holiday the other night online with Travel Republic. Mrs Sted, myself and the two Steddettes, along with a couple of friends and their kids.

After hitting confirm, my mate pointed out that his wifes first name is Norah    (I've known her as Jane for the last ten years...no wonder she kept THAT secret)

Anyway, rang Travel Republic up and explained the situation.

No worries. They'll change the name on the booking.

£130!!!!!!!

What? Bloody rip off merchants.

After asking Dr Google about this, it seems that £100 of that fee is Ryanairs cut.

How come the banks have been brought to task over extortionate overcharging and the bloody airlines can still get away with it?

Paid it now. Seven day 'cooling off period' doesn't apply to holidays.

£7.50 to change her name would have worked.

Bloody Norah!

Dunno...not seen them yet. 8-)

I did go away with friends a few years ago though including the landlord / landlady of my local.

...and she was as fit as the proverbial butcher's.

First day, she say's to me "any photos of these end up behind the bar and you're barred"

Removes her top.

Well it kept me in sex wees for a good couple of months.

One thing I've noticed on hol (well for me anyway), woman can be topless around the pool right nearby, but if you ever befriend them and their families, i.e. have a proper conversation one night or something, the next day they are much more uncomfortable being topless around you. Or is that just me?

Just you I suspect. If I get chatting to them for a length of time then those who were not topless tend to go topless the next day....or is that just me 8-)
