Hi,

I'm currently in a three-way tie at the top of my works league. My team is currently as follows:

GK J Hart MCY £4.5m
DEF R Huth STO £3.5m
DEF P Jones MAN £3.5m
DEF V Kompany MCY £5.5m
DEF R Shawcross STO £3.5m
MID J Mata CHE £3.5m
MID A Young MAN £5.5m
MID D Silva MCY £5.5m
STR S Aguero MCY £5.5m
STR K Jones STO £3.5m
STR J Hernandez MAN £6.0m

My main objective is to increase my exposure to Man City and if possible Liverpool (because of the extra games), and Arsenal (because of the decent set of fixtures). And of course to avoid the African CON players.

I'm happy to lose Young, because he's just not brought in the points to justify £5.5m recently. Kenwyne Jones was only a short term option because of Stoke being busy and he's done OK, but there are others who will score more. Hernandez will probably score his share of points but if I want RVP in there (and I do), he'll probably have to make way too.

That gives me £15m to play with, or £7.5m for one mid and one striker after RVP. I've put up a couple of options for what I'm considering doing, and also one a bit out of left field in so far as I would normally try to avoid using up subs on shuffling defenders around.

All votes and comments most welcome!

Thanks

Thanks to everyone who has voted and commented.

Sturridge is definitely one to consider - the only thing that pushes me away from him is that I want to make something of the Arsenal fixtures and Man City / Liverpool extra games in this window. I'm half-intending to put Sturridge in at TW4 when Chelsea will have the CL fixtures as a Brucey Bonus - he's pretty easy to work into the team (most likely at the expense of Balotelli if I do put him in).

Cheers Lfc, I went for A. balotelli is obviously a CM and there's a danger I've only picked him to use the full £50m, but he does score goals and I doubt many will have him.

What clinched it its like you said its a clear improvement over what I have in all three cases
Good luck!
