Team is:

Hart
Richards
Kompany
Enrique
Olson

Mata
Silva
Petrov :(

Aguero
RVP
Rooney

Am in 2nd place in works league 70 points behind leader. Think I need gamble to catch up so was thinking:

Sturridge for Rooney. Chelsea look to have an easier run of games
Fat Frank for Petrov. As above, and even if he comes on as a sub has potential to score a couple.
Richards for Walker/O’Shea. Need to release some cash and City seem to rotate him.

If it all goes wrong it's only a short window............................ Thoughts?

Not sure i would be quite so bold at this stage.

You have a pretty strong line up (and depending on who he has) you could naturally close that gap without taking bold moves. Taking out (newly in form) Rooney, for a shadow of himself Lampard is risky IMO.

Personally I would look at ditching
Richards 4.5
Olsson 1.5
Petrov 2

on the basis that Michah is injured.

Thanks Zimm,

He has a very strong squad although is hampered by injuries, Jones and Taylor, and he also has Suarez to think about. His team is:

Hart
Jones
Wes Brown
Enrique
Taylor

Bale
Silva
Nani

Aguero
Suarez
Rooney

I don't think he can afford RVP with the transfers he has to make and wil prob go for Adebayor or Sturridge instead. Defender wise I don't have a clue, but he won't have much to play with.

Based on your recommendations how does this look?

Richards - O'Shea/Walker
Petrov - Ramsey

Keep Olson unless there is a better 1.5m Def out there?

Walker over oshea without a doubt.
Ramsey is fine.

How about brown instead of Olson. At least you will match him?

I went with the Petrov  Ramsey, Richards  Walker option in the end and swopped Olson for Williams just to mix it up a bit.
Oh and in my earlier post I meant Jonny Evans not O'Shea!

Good luck to everyone and Merry Christmas.

Well I made up 120 points on 1st place and am now top of my league by 33. Was helped by the fact that the bloke in front forgot to make his transfers! Now looking to cement top spot.
Current team is:

Hart

Kompany
Enrique
Walker
Williams

Silva
Mata
Ramsay

Rooney
RVP
Aguero

Person is second has same team bar Bale:arrow:Ramsay, Enrique/Walker:arrow:Hangeland/Riise.

I am very much in for having players in Europe or FA Cup to get games under there belts. I also think United may rotate Rooney in Europe as they go for the league. So was thinking: Rooney:arrow:Suarez, Ramsay:arrow:Ox, Williams:arrow:Agger.

Thoughts?
