Agreed.

On the other hand, I wouldn't exactly say the same ('decent lad') about David Bentley - one of Spurs' worst ever signings. However, I do hope that he does well enough at West Ham to help them get promoted and encourage them to take him 'permanently', for a few million, in the summer.

Also glad to see the back of Hutton, a terrible defender who never looks as if he has the ball under control when going forward, either.

Could not agree more about Bentley. If it was me i would have sacked him for gross misconduct the day he tipped the ice over Arry. A diabolical player as bad a player i've seen wear the shirt.
Hutton not to bad but Walker and Corluka significantly better.

Whilst not strictly contradicting that....

"Spurs boss Harry Redknapp confirms that striker Louis Saha will be fit to face his former club Everton at Goodison tomorrow. Defender William Gallas is also available but Aaron Lennon is out with a hamstring injury."

According to Everton's website he wont play.

Strikes me as kind of odd.
How can that be 'legal'?

Said to be a gentleman's agreement between 'arry and Moyes when Saha was transferred. Nothing illegal in that surely.

What next… I'll sell you Suarez, but as a gentlemans agreement, you stick Nani in goal whenever we play each other?

Dont get me wrong, nothing to stop Saha have a niggle that needs resting. None of us would be any the wiser.
But to publicly admit it seems a bit daft if you ask me.

I remember when Cole and Gillespie swapped clubs way back; it was days before they played each other. That gentleman's agreement made sense.

But this is a bit too pally for my liking.

It was often done on a nod and a wink for loans and became very dodgy which is why they introduced the rule that loan players cannot play for their parent club.

This stinks and is unfair on Everton's league rivals.

EDIT - It appears it is illegal if it is formal but if it is informal and you lie about it then you get away with it

Moyes has previous
