After Monday night's match:

Woolster 1270 (3) 8-)
Nigel 1305 1210 (2)
Canary Yellow 1208 (1)
Des 1207 (1)
Bagpuss 1203 (4)
Cherylhoney 1200 (1)
Rust 1200 (5)
Primitive Man 1188 (2)
Bunners 1186 (4)
Lucky 7 1183 (P)

Think that's right. Apologies if I've missed anyone. Very impressive score by Woolster. Pretty poor showing by the Premier division.

I wonder what odds you would have got at CanaryBet on the yellow man himself being that high!!!

The premier league is a pressure cooker, everyone gets promoted with uber scores and plenty of confidence... and proceed year after year to be sucked into a tactical dogfight.

You would think it wouldnt you... but no, that doesnt explain how people get promoted from Div 1 with amazing scores and go right into a relegation battle. Every year

Nearly there on 1172. I may be in with a chance if the tactical dogfighting continues. :)

Once again apologies if I've missed anyone. Woolster continues to impress at the top. No Premiership teams in the top 10  Very good showing by division 2.

Shouldn't we be adding scores together from the 5 seasons?

No, were trying to identify the best egg-cup managers, not the ones who have played the most seasons. If we did that we end up with most of the Premiership managers and we've already proven there isn't a decent manager in that league. :P

Not many transfers though and I'm likely to play a bit defensively which might make a higher position difficult then again it could work in my favour !

Poor season though all in all. Couple around the 1k mark. How's your season going ?

In your position, I'd be going all out for as high a finish as possible. You never know a top 20 may be possible, if things go exceptionally well. But, I can understand that your main objective is to win the egg cup.

For me, TFF's not been brilliant this season, considering the amount of teams entered; although that could be the problem. Best team will probably just scrape into the top 1000 at the end of the season.

My best comp is the Star, with a team in 20th and with a nice transfers left balance. 8-)
