New series starts tonight 8-)

Last series was a bit lacklustre. Hope this is an improvement.

Will a new Stig be unveiled ? Maybe a Stigess ?

If the Skoda Yeti didnt look like a vehicle I required to convey a wheelchair in, I'd think it was pretty cool.

It must be difficult getting the level of humour right so that it remains 'off the wall' rather than just plain silly.

Tonight was the latter I'm afraid.

I thought last nights show was total garbage.

I couldn't see the point in the bit on the Yeti, it seemed a complete load of bollux, who really care's if you can land a helicopter on top of one, and the bit with the sat nav was just childish (assuming the only reason for it was to show a phallic shape).

The Atom looked impressive though!

I enjoyed it

I know the Yeti is not a Ferrari competitor, but 0-60 in 8.7secs is hot hatch territory fort a vehilce that looks like it was designed to carry a wheelchair. And the 4 wheel drive looked good round the field, and nice that the floor was reinforced to cope with terrain. Its tough, durable and if it can take 700kilo's on the roof like that - Strong. I still like the juvenile humour, like James releasing his seed alone etc :lol:

and that John Bishop seemed a thoroughly nice chap. One gripe - I never saw the point of the races against gravity

The snowbine harvester episode was the worst edition of Top Gear I think I have ever seen. Far too staged. Far too silly and even by Top Gear's standards, absolutely nothing to do with what the show is about.

Even she managed the worst track time in the dry! Nice looking though, but never heard of her to be honest. I just thought the combine feature was pitifully bad and these days I find myself fast forwarding most of the show.
