Don't think I've done enough to overtake you, but the gap will be a lot closer going into the final round :D

It couldn't be tighter going into the last round of the competition. Only 3pts separate 1st and 2nd, and only 4pts separate Neill and Mil from winning the bragging rights (and a small side bet). :D

1 Paul McGeoghan Donegal Golfers 1593
2 Kevin Curran Neither use nor Ornament 1590
3 Neill Wilcox No you won't 1518
4 Mil Gajic I will beat Lister 1514
5 David Blake Blakeys Bogey 1494
6 Philip Blackburn The Bookhouse Boys 1460
7 Anthony Patterson Smashing Course 1457
8 Geoff Pryor Yesterday's Golfer 1452
9 Shaun Cooper Toffeelover 1439
10 Colin Robertson Man United's #1 Fan 1439

Final week - quite a change to be near the top of something..
Scores at this mo - - Hanson -6 Donald -3 - Schwartzel -1, Havret, Hansen and Oosthuizen E.
Big Pete vs big Alvaro could decide it :)

Yes, although looks like Big Alvaro has bottled it slightly in the last few rounds though :(
Still, Sergio is making a late charge so still hope.
Westwood struggling 2, this is the only tournament I have ever dropped Donald in favour of Westwood all season :!:

Not quite...he actually lasted four holes before calling it a day.

It could be worse - he'll still score four points, as will over half the field!

How'd you like that putt, scopsm? Bit of a choker for you to lose the 10 Best round points for Andersson Hed after your inspired pick, but I guess you'll cope :)

Yeah, I was hoping for Andersson Hed and Quiros to both have best round at one point but I'll get over it :)
Much better day today apart from Westwood, still feel I am going to regret dropping Donald.

You got best round yesterday with Pete so we have evened out at moment on best rounds. Still just ahead as things stand.

Congratulations Kevin, you pipped me in the last round despite me picking the overall winner :!:
If only I had picked Donald as I have always done and not Westwood
Oh well, 37th overall.

The dust (or sand) has finally settled on the Race to Dubai Mini League Competition and 'Neither use nor Ornament' came up the rails and nicked it in the final furlong from Donegal Golfers. :D

Well done Kevin. If you PM your address I'll send out your Winners Cup and Balls once the Christmas rush has passed.

The 'Battle of the Titans' between Lister and The Elkmaster has also been decided, with the bragging rights (and a crispy £5 note) going to Lister :D

1 Kevin Curran Neither use nor Ornament 1772
2 Paul McGeoghan Donegal Golfers 1731
3 Philip Blackburn The Bookhouse Boys 1660
4 Neill Wilcox No you won't 1632
5 Mil Gajic I will beat Lister 1608
6 Anthony Patterson Smashing Course 1597
7 David Blake Blakeys Bogey 1578
8 Shaun Cooper Toffeelover 1539
9 Colin Robertson Man United's #1 Fan 1513
10 Geoff Pryor Yesterday's Golfer 1496
11 john morrison Pa's 19 Pointers 1243

Master Pa: (after seeing Lister defeat the Elkmaster) Ha, ha, never assume because a man has no eyes he cannot see. Close your eyes. What do you hear?
Young Lister: I hear the water, I hear the birds.
Master Pa: Do you hear your own heartbeat?
Young Lister: No.
Master Pa: Do you hear the grasshopper that is at your feet?
Young Lister: (looking down and seeing the insect) Pa, how is it that you hear these things?
Master Pa: Lister, how is it that you do not?

Loosely adapted from 'Kung Fu' :D
