i think aside from the attraction it's free, another factor which i think makes it more popular is the way the transfers are handled.

For tinkerman, you can set your teams up well in advance of the KO time and then just amend slightly if required when team news is out, before your team is then automatically submitted.

For regular MOTW attempts, you cant afford to not wait for team news before entering your team as you dont get the luxury of being able to amend your team once its in.

I wonder if there will ever be a day where they introduce a system where you can undo your selected transfers for regular teams up until first KO of the day, when those transfers become permanent after first KO?

Hope so - that would be a great feature - and save a bit on server strain at key times.

Yes i noticed that Murf.A good time to have a go at the weekly prize while the increased interest in the Tinkerman.Plus you get another team in the Tinkerman when you use up your transfers.
I've put two teams in weekly but missed Collback in both teams, bit rushed to get teams on,so got 32pts in both. :(

Had a few abandoned teams waiting for an excuse to go for MOTW - been too many weeks with multiple match days of late to be able to compete with new teams.

Even this week (3 days) is bad. I did have one team with 30 transfers and one Sunderland player so stuck that in for the hell of it. One of the 19 in level lead but has only 20 transfers left so I am forced to play two Sunderland players against Arsenal which the new MOTW teams (and tinkerman teams) don't have to do.

This is very tricky tomorrow, I opted for a Fulham block in the end but nothing too obvious looking at the fixtures....

118 in 6th best position for me since tinkerman started.

I have done a weekly team which has scored 101pts and is in 5th place ,7pts off leader.
Have two teams on same score in Tinkerman which are far far away.

What to do today :?

Wolves haven't kept a clean sheet since August
WBA haven't kept a clean sheet away since September
Villa haven't kept a clean sheet at home since October

Although Man City are by far the better team today, their clean sheets away from home aren't the best either.

Thought I'd be way behind

1 Mr Gajic Sparks 123
2 Mr Chadbund Maybe just Maybe 121
3 Mr Boarder HO HO HO 120
4 Mr Kent ONBOARD 100 120
5 Mr Friel bren23 120
6 Mr Stevens weekly13a 118
7 Mr Moyle TOPGUN 2 118
=8 Mr Murfitt murf's mob Stavanger 117

If only I'd used this Spurs option in MOTW as I originally planned instead of switching to Swansea (is there a gag in me switching to a Welsh team due to a fear of Ba?)

Looking at team news I don't think Wolves block is possible

Only 3 listed defenders from Wolves & WBA.

I went for both! Full WBA and a couple from Wolves to make a 532

Gambling on a 0-0 with Villa and Citeh scorers later!

With so many teams within 10 or so points and me being 5 off the lead I thought I would play with a curved bat!
