What sort of Fantasy Manager are you. ?

Tinker - You just can't resist a transfer, you always feel you need to be making your team better & will often trade out a fit but underperforming player for the latest sensation.

Pro's - you follow your fantasy team closely and tend to be competitive early season.
Con's - games with limited transfers for the season
Suited to - FPL

Tailor - You spend weeks pre-season crafting and fine tuning your teams, assessing stats, compiling dossiers & browsing Bramernic's site for hidden pearls. You have a natural flair, ooze confidence but are susceptible to threads unravelling & all your teams start to look the same.

Pro's - Your a trendsetter, prepared to look long and hard for this season's must have garments. A shiny new cheap enabler or the latest foreign import. Left field outlandish selections are your forte
Cons - see Pro's
Suited to - Rate my Team threads

Soldier - Your season is a military manouevre, planned in detail with all the infinite minutae of 4 for 1's & team schedules ready for access at a moments notice. Fixture changes are your keys to the fantasy football kingdom, whilst keeping an ear to the injury thread ground is essential to your strategy

Pro's - You live by the motto 'If you fail to prepare, prepare to fail' everything is mapped out from GW1 to the final GW
Con's - You are constantly frustrated by real life club Managers whims, players rotated and rested. Unreported injuries are a curse & these real life frailties can throw you off course faster than a desert sand storm
Suited to - Bram's website, Specialist club news threads & injury updates

Spy - You take a back seat, you lurk & listen. You listen to the views of all and sundry, taking note of proven performers. You love nothing more than to reverse engineer the leading teams on the overall Leaderboards to see exactly what they have done that your not.

Pro's - you have your finger on the pulse, you know who's hot and who's not
Con's - you react to what has happened often missing the boat on players hot spells. Jumping on bandwagons when the wheels are about to fall off
Suited to - How are you doing this thread, the X points+ brag thread

Butcher - You are the fantasy Manager who will rip his team apart at regular intervals making multiple transfers in one go, then allowing your meat to mature before rushing back in and butchering it once again.

Pro's - Prepared to make quick, stark changes & then sit back and see how they pan out over a period of time
Con's - Often leave the maturing period too long, leading to festering. The freshening up proceedure can also lead to a lack of end of season transfer options or points hits (dependant on games)
Suited to - Short term games like World Cup FF, Manager of the Week/Month entries

Baker - You are precise and considered, patient & have a proven recipe for success. Everything needs to be balanced and timed to perfection

Pro's - You are prepared to wait until the deadline to get the correct team news. You'll weigh up all your options and avoid waste whenever necessary
Cons - you miss out on early deadlines from time to time & prefer a slow steady improvement to peaks and troughs. Occasionally you'll overegg the pudding or have too many eggs in one basket.
Suited to - Prediction games & threads, TFF

Candle Stick Maker - You love something shiny and new, you just can't resist the latest Carlos Kickaball transfer. You want your team full of stars, goals is where its at.

Pro's - you have a team packed full of big hitters points wise
Cons - Too many cheap players not chipping in on a regular basis, the inevitable low scoring weeks when your CK's are rested, rotated or just plain crap
Suited to - FISODAS

Any more ? & what are you ?
Suited to -

My type varies as the season develops and what game I play. I can see a bit of myself in all of them b

I was going to put an example FISOer for each section - For Tinker, Razorback was the obvious selection

I like to think I am a Baker but I don't really have a recipe.

In reality I am too often the obvious category you didn't include. I am lastminute.com. After half thinking about it all week I end up just chucking whatever is at hand into my baker's oven at five to deadline.

MMMMM... The Tinkerer... i just can't settle on my team.. just have itchy fingers..
Candle stick maker... yeah.. love my stars.. shiny and brand new!!

though i think this year i have improved... and tried to consider the little players.. tried to think beyond the big four-8.. and think about scores from other matches..

but i have a tendency to throw in a player in.. after they've achieved their hatrick... knowing the statistics.. don't support a regular repeat of a hatrick!!. but hoping... hoping .. that it is a Dem BA start of a revolution

i can't do military or Spy for myself.. though my colleagues ask me to spy for them!!

One of the reasons I chose my username is that Tom Snout is a character in Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream". In the cast list, he is called a "tinker".
