Just checked my prize league and noticed Golf Bosh scored 274 making him this weeks (Firestone) winner and I don't think he's actually participating any more, still has 30 transfers!! That's the sort of luck I need

I noticed that as well.

It's actually a common tactic to have 6 'heavyweights' and 6 low value enablers.

A bit strange all the same as there are a few players valued at 0.5 that are worth bringing in as replacements. Does seem a waste of transfers, but they are £100 richer anyway :o

Two FISO wins in three weeks then!

I guess not that many people picked Webb Simpson and Oli Fisher this week :D

Only picked Fisher as he was playing and no subs left

Congrats to Wino, latest £100 winner, who has been known to pop his head into FISO now and again :D

Gutted, I think there's already been one, I was joint 1st last night :(

Fair play to the other guy though, he had Reavie in his team

We both had Westwood, McIlroy, Simpson & Day

He had

    Reavie (2nd)
    Donald (3rd)

I had:

    Kaymer (2nd)
    Snedeker (3rd)

Did I lose out because he entered his team first Mr Green?

Unlucky Shaun
As you have mentioned at least it wasn't the Reavie bogey on the last costing you

Hard luck there Shaun. I too lost on a tie break ruling a couple of seasons ago. It hurts

Unlucky Shaun, I do agree with Kdub to a degree but with the prize money budget already sorted so £50 each would IMO be better. On saying that though rules are rules.

Unlucky, Shaun. Guess the positive thing is that your team beat the remaining 2,000 of us!

If FL Golf budget cannot be stretched to an extra cash prize, perhaps weekly rule could be amended so those level on points share the £100, with each captain also gaining a free entry to the following season's contest?

And maybe existing tiebreak comes into force only when there are more than four sides tied at the top?

Unlucky Shaun

The irony is that in the week that Sam D mentions the picking of a full squad debate - the guy leading my private league had 12 transfers left and Keunhe / Coetzee / Lyle / Mannasero but went in with 4. Scored 99 points - no guarantee that the xtra points would have been scored but a weird decision

Sadly, not me this week :(
It's another guy with the same name :) (I'd never put an English flag next to my team name!)

Hard luck Colin :(

Well done Alan ! You are the man this year Shame Alan

- thought this might be my week but not the right mix of the main men when it got down to the nitty gritty - lets hope a Rose captaincy elsewhere proves inspirational (Still not worth a oner if it is!)

Not even for £100?

And unlucky Padmole too, if you'd had your old favourite Senden instead of Schwartzel in your after thought XII, you'd have walked it!

The winning team scored five more place points, I'm afraid, but would have won on the "earliest entry rule" anyway.

I have to be close to the weekly this week with a 1st, 1st, 3rd, 6th, 6th & 12th plus 4 best rounds fair play to anyone who tops that.

Unlucky Lister, normally having both winners and 4 other scorers you would have romped it.
Donald and Garcia were obviously popular choices.

Just goes to show how much you can potentially score on a single weighted event! :)

I thought I did okay with 83 points but fell down the league. :(
