PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY

Rules

1. The template for your team is Alan Hansen's XI. You can change to any of the formations available as long as you comply with Rule 2 beneath.

2. You must make at least one and no more than two changes to this team by midnight on Friday 14th August 2009. This is to allow me enough time to check that all teams are in order for the start of the season.

3. You must enter your team in the superleague as soon as possible. You do not need to have made your changes at this stage - only to have entered a team. I will distribute the league name and password by PM to all the players.

I will post the league table after any day in which games have been played with at least one weekly update.

I have entered teams in each league which consist of the cheapest available players and so, hopefully, those teams will not accrue enough points to be above last position. This does however enable me to monitor each league.

4. Post your starting team in the following manner



so that everyone can clearly see your free transfers.

5. Following the start of the season manage your team in the normal way.

6. The leagues will be open so that everyone can see everyone else's teams.

7. Your team name must include your FISO name and some reference to eggs, eggcups etc.

8. Each league contains 12 players and there will be a 3 up, 3 down promotion and relegation at the end of the season.

9. The winner of each league wins a bespoke egg cup and a cash prize to a charity of their choice.

10. When you make a transfer you should post on the relevant thread giving the changes made and reasons for it. You must also use the following template:



11. There will be a cup competition which runs automatically alongside the league competition. I will announce the weeks for the cup competition when all the leagues have been finalised.

12. Further details can be found on the egg cup admin thread.

13. Above all, enjoy yourselves, have a bit of banter and may the best man or woman win.

14. This game is run by me for FISO members only. I reserve the right to remove anyone that I consider has not treated FISO or any of its members in a fashion which I consider to be appropriate. Any anti-FISO behaviour will not be tolerated. My decision is final on all matters and by joining one of the leagues then you agree to be bound by these conditions.

League pin number has been sent out to all players via PM.

I'm definitely there, but haven't so much batted an eye at the site or player list yet. If the weather remains crap over the weekend and I can't spend time gardening then TFF it will be.

I thought I'd left Razor in Div 2 I will have to try hard not to get dragged into transfer burning mayhem like last season but looking at Hansen's team this may be difficult.

I'm in Division One is where its at anyway, unlike that High Falutin Premiership. WHere you have to watch the signings you make, a careful consideration of how they will slot into the team unlkie the other mob who can afford to spend £60m on Michael Owen.

Now I know it doesn't matter for this league but I checked my settings and by default I'm going to notify everyone when I make a transfer and TFF are going email me when someone else makes one too... Could be a bit dangerous in a closed league with money involved?

I even sent thelip a Pm telling him about it. Waste of time by the looks of it. Hope I get a notification everytime anyone makes a sub.

Some initial thoughts re Hansens team and the first two 'free 'transfers

1) Hansen seems to cause more injuries to players than the Newcastlle Utd training pitch

2) Why didn't he go Reina/Vidic rather than VDS/Ferdinand as that would have made much more sense?

3) Will a formation change make the side more balanced?

4) Some current draft colour coded thoughts are shown below............

Do the different colours mean something or are they just there to look pretty?...

The colours are all different options....

Red, green, blue and brown are all separate possible two transfer combinations that could be used to 'improve' the starting Hansen line -up.

Would be glad to hear your thoughts RB as I am sure you have looked at this as well
