5th this year but it could all have been so different if:

1 I had put Torres in on two occasions when each time he scored a hat-trick;
2 I had put Lampard in when he scored 4 goals;
3 Pompey clean sheets hadn't dried up;
4 Defoe had kept scoring;
5 I had remembered that Mikel, Kuyt, Anelka, Owen, Arbeloa were useless transfers at the time.

Oh well, at least I didn't get relegated and there's always another chance next season to wipe that smug grin off happyhoppy's face. :twisted:

hoppy finally has 3 decent challengers and lucky7s will probably cling on for a uefa spot

with us 3 promoted at least it can be called a part premiership now and not the mediocreship that its been :D

I like this ... I like this a lot. Going to get me right focused this. Bring it on binky. :D

Errrm, for note ... always worth checking out the FS record and seeing whom puts down worthy pasts and whom puts in quips to hide their lesser TFF pedigree. :wink: :lol: Then you'll see who really will be worried ...

is the chief really jethro tull.........living in the past :D

Maybe I'll be playing the flute and you lot will wiggle dance behind me into my trick pit of egg cup sorrow.

Errrrm, I was not born when Jethro Tull was formed, so don't try and age me, old man. Shatte me, just looked um up and seen they have sold over 60mil albums worldwide. Always thought this world is a crazzzzy place.

It ain't about TFF pedigree - it is about Eggcup pedigree and not falling over like John Terry at the death when it is time to stand up and be counted :wink:

Despite the forces of evil (as personified by Hansen, Ronaldo and the lesser injury gods) all conspiring against me this season I used my pedigree to reach the podium.

We all saw what happened to most of the Johnny-come-lately-promoted-upstarts this season. We'll probably be waving to Binky in our rear view mirrors some time in late April 09 :twisted:

Post to be read with an invisible wink as always - don't want to tickle the God Of Smug's toes too much now do I?

pedigree?????? the scores suggest most of you were constantly drinking it

Hmmm, more like HSB and XXXB or Dark Lord or Cider. :D

Aaaaaagghh, got it now. You bored people with your inane twaddle sooooo much last season, that most of um decided it best to be pished to make muggy head thus you fade away. So then you won. Hmmm, tactics as hh in the Prem just gone. :wink:

If we playing this year, well I be not here from 28/07 - 14/08 and busy this weekend, so I might be a bit stuffed for getting a team in.

Shocking planning :shock:

If going abroad, you should at least register and pay for your your teams in the UK first as the Telegraph are being funny about foreign IP addresses to weed out nasty overseas entrants. You should be Ok to tinker once overseas....

Shocking, but sometimes FF takes the backfoot. I'm just trying to get stuff in and registered as you say before I go.

I've gotten this Sunday evening and Monday to deal with most of it, but after that, hey ho hum ......

If thelip is watching perhaps he can confirm if we can kick off setting up this league yet.

And why are we in the 07/8 thread? :P

Originally it was me asking on the correct thread, yes 07/08, if there was any news on the winners Egg cup. But it fell on deaf ears obviously.

The cups were ordered today (as AJC1964 will confirm) and they should be ready to pick up on Thursday. They will be sent out shortly afterwards.

As for this year's leagues, I was planning on doing something towards the end of this week.
