As regulars will no doubt have noticed The Rounded Keeper has had yet another make-over, despite the biting constraints of the recession. We are now a Theme Pub and, quite obviously, the theme is ''Lost Hope, Anger and Despair", as voted for by you, the public.*

Old faces and new friends alike are invited to savour each of our three starring Emotions in the season to come! What's more, we'll be introducing Guest Emotions over the coming weeks - 'Frustration', a piquant little brew which promises much more than it delivers. 'Buggeration', a speciality of the House, due in Wild Card Week and 'Schadenfreude', a German import and my own favourite, delightfully blending both shame and joy into a heady concoction. Traditionally taken once your Auto-Subs have kicked in, you know you don't deserve it, but, boy, it tastes good!

These and other bottled up feelings can all be experienced here at The Rounded Keeper every FPL gameweek with Gretchen, our own Mother Teresa of the Terraces, always on hand to sooth your troubled brow and lend a sympathetic ear.



Once again, I hereby invite our much loved, long serving barmaid to do the honours and pull the first pint before accompanying me upstairs for an hour's session on the couch. There's a lot I want to unload on her.

I can see the confusion, seeing as I had a VdV avatar.

But no, was a Chelsea fan since I was a wee lad, just so happened that VdV is one of my favourite players, and, quite counter-intuitively, I like Tottenham...

Also, I lost a bet with a friend of mine and had to not only change my avatar to that of a Spurs player, but had to wear a Spurs shirt every time I went anywhere with him during the season. I felt like an idiot.
