feeling pretty confident about my choice to bring in Bale early on. was thinking about seeing if last season was a flash in the pan and just watching him.

Joe Hart must be looking at some bonus points and not to mention points for the amount of saves he's going to make in this game.

Apart from Hart (what a player), Bale's been the best player on the pitch. Great to see him doing well, but agonising to see him put almost win a penalty, hit the post, and put in SO many crosses that are almost converted! Get yerself some points on the board son!

Assou-Ekotto got a lot of stick for his efforts in the WC, but was it just me or was he actually Cameroon's best player right up until the bitter end? He was involved in everything, all the time, and save for a few positioning mistakes didn't do much wrong I thought.
