Funny you should say that, exactly what I was thinking - that late yellow card for Tevez helped a bit (rival has him as captain), but my lead down to 5 points pre-bonus, so 3x 2 for Tevez would be enough for him. :?

wouldn't normally go against a FISO'er, but in this case... sorry man.

Nice win for me, covered all my bases and sent rivals scrambling to desperation in the final week. Second ML win in my second FPL season.

Quite an error starting Evatt over Walker but my rival brought him in as well and will have to have his points for Luiz/VDV.

Bit harsh... ref didn't even think it was worth a card until the Chelsea players changed his mind.

In the cold world of FPL that isn't relevant

I just saw a replay, and Nzogbia was not the assist man, he was in front of goal behind the play...

Please could you wait 'til they've given Zog the bonus points before you email FPL?

ESPN Soccernet Gamecast of the match has it correct:

78'
Goal! Stoke City 0, Wigan Athletic 1. Hugo Rodallega (Wigan Athletic) header from very close range to the top right corner. Assisted by Maynor Figueroa with a cross.

Only game I can comment on is the Everton-Chelse game. But surprised Lampard picked up a bonus point. No complaints on Distin being rewarded, but Arteta was superb and gets nowt!

Maybe this was covered somewhere else, but FPL has no minutes played for Diouf M in GW38 but I thought he subbed on for Roberts at 73' (Roberts showing 90 mins). I don't think I've ever seen FPL miss a players minutes before (assuming Diouf actually came on for him).

From this it doesn't look like he came on (scroll right down for team lines).

Odd. This link shows that he was on for 12 minutes & even had an offside call against him.

Quote:
73' Substitution, Blackburn Rovers. Mame Biram Diouf forward replaces Jason Roberts.
86' Offside, Blackburn Rovers. Míchel Salgado tries a through ball, but Mame Biram Diouf is caught offside.

Curiouser & curiouser (from BBC Sport):
Quote:
85:30 Jason Roberts is caught offside. Free kick taken by Wayne Hennessey.

That's really pretty funny. Someone was making shit up.

Judging by this (and the assist to N'zogbia), black folks all look alike to the BBC & FPL

From the BBC Match Report:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/13444536.stm

Then, just after 1730 BST, came the news Wigan had been waiting for. Manchester United had gone 3-2 up against Blackpool at Old Trafford. If results stayed the same, Wigan were safe.

The jubilation of the travelling support turned to euphoria when Rodallega rose in the six-yard box to head home N'Zogbia's left-wing cross 13 minutes from time.

Mistaken identity seems to be a lot more prevalent as far as black players go and i think it's truly shameful. It's not just the PA and lazy journalists either, i've noticed many times on match of the day where black players names seem to be pulled out of a hat, and this is despite them having time to edit their commentaries too.

I'm surprised rodallega wasn't in the running to be somehow awarded the assist for his goal.
