As I mentioned on another thread I had decent information pointing towards a potential Multi entrant that has also won a prize.

In week 1 the following teams belonging to 'Mrs' Emery did very well.....

Week 1
13 Mrs Emery Marls Marvels 1 174
16 Mrs Emery Marls Marvels 5 172
24 Mrs Emery Marls Marvels 3 166
33 Mrs Emery Marls Marvels 4 161
44 Mrs Emery Marls Marvels 2 159

In Month 3 the following teams belonging to 'Mr' Emery did very well, one even won the monthly prize.....

Month 3
1 Mr Emery Marls Marvels 5 605
2 Mr Emery Marls Marvels Two 571
3 Mr Emery Marls Marvels 1 570
16 Mr Emery Marls Marvels 3 503

From the prizes section on the Daily Mail site
Manager of the Month
£700* (Highest score in each of the 10 months)

All teams entered by 'Emerys' (top 100 of monthly/weekly leagues)
Mr Emery Marls Marvels 1
Mrs Emery Marls Marvels 1
Mrs Emery Marls Marvels 2
Mr Emery Marls Marvels 3
Mrs Emery Marls Marvels 3
Mr Emery Marls Marvels 4
Mrs Emery Marls Marvels 4
Mr Emery Marls Marvels 5
Mrs Emery Marls Marvels 5
Mr Emery Marls Marvels Two

The team name similarities are uncanny. The targetting of weekly/monthly prizes by Mrs Emery (and failing) and then Mr Emery targetting and winning the Month 3 prize is uncanny.

Have GFM paid out Mr/Mrs Emery? Considering those name still appear on the leaderboards it would appear so (unless GFM run the Sun aswell).

Does Mr/Mrs Emery have any other alias'?
If so have they won any other prizes?

Have GFM investigated The Emerys? I very much doubt it.
Is there a chance another potential multi may win a substaintial prize? It looks that way.
Will GFM investigate those names I have brought to their attention? I doubt it.

I've sent them an email tonight, don't know if I'll get a reply. I've pointed out to them about the number of female entries (particularly in the monthly comp) I've asked the question that if my wife enters some teams for the next monthly competition and I tell her what changes to do, will she be eligible for a prize if she be so lucky to end up in a winning position.

Probably won't get an answer, but if I do, and the answer is yes, all your hard work will be in vain Chuck!

Nice question to ask them about the missus. At least they have 20 odd days to reply until February.

Not a problem, it gives me something to do at work so if they answer that it's ok at least it will have killed some hours sat on my arse doing the 9-5 :)

I gave up on this game a few weeks ago as it was obvious that some were getting an unfair advantage. I played within the rules by having 5 teams but never got anywhere, points wise............now I know why.
I won't be playing the Mail game again, that's for sure !!!

I'll be interested in the reply to The Elkmaster but I expect it'll be something vague that doesn't state a clear position.

There is quite a bit grey area though. What if his wife entered of her own accord but constantly asked him for advice, would that be cheating? What if she asked for regular help but also made some decisions herself? What if they often discussed it but she made the final decision? It's all imposible to judge and other than going through all the login times and finding they're always within seconds of each other it's impossible to know who's cheating and who's genuine. And even then, after they'd been caught doing that once they wouldn't make the same mistake next year.

The best thing for The Mail to do would be make it 5 teams per household. I'm assuming they can tell where people access the site from so if several people claiming to live at different addresses were actually the same person it'd be obvious. Or at least you'd have to keep driving to your mate's house every time you wanted to make a transfer

I've just seen the Benjamin/Ben one. So obvious but kind of genius. I never even thought of it, I could have entered as Richard, Rich, Richie, Rick, Ricky, Dick and er Dickie Image
