Top team, my only concern would be your men in the sticks. Both are suceptable to the chop!

Welbeck is a good fix in that price range, but again be wary of Hernandez getting back in there. If you got the money to swap for Ba then its not an issue.

Issues still open now while playing the WC...

1. Shotton  :?:

2. Welbeck & HBA > :?: < Ba & McClean (+0.2m) [the extra 0.2m could help replace Shotton if I do this move]

:?

I think Welbeck is worth the punt this week over Ba if he's a starter on the teamsheet.

Which one of these four: Shotton / Woodgate // Santon / Williamson

(I already have Simpson and Sorensen and contemplating another Stoke or another Newcastle defender)

I prefer Santon over the rest, maybe Shotton second...

Given that this is likely your 15th player, I'd go with the cheapest.

Assuming so he's the cheapest (without looking), I'd go with Stanton. He'll get plenty of starts and once he gets a couple more clean sheets or his first goal/assist, his price will jump.

Actually Shotton is the cheapest (@4.1) while the others cost 4.2m which doesn't make much difference to me. I was more interested to know whether you chaps think I should get a second Stoke or a second Newcastle defender...?

I prefer Santon's chances of staying in the side. I would probably rather double on Stoke though. If you trust Shotton, I'd go Shotton.

Yeah I know... Amos is not even in the FPL list... trying to get Mingolet in...
Welbeck I don't care much... might start McClean instead...

Some nice options from the new transfers

DEF - Bolton - Gary Cahill - 5.2
DEF - QPR - Taye Taiwo - 4.5
DEF - QPR - Nedum Onuoha - 4.6

MID - Everton - Landon Donovan - 7
MID - Swansea - Gylfi Sigurdsson - 5
ATT -Aston Villa - Robbie Keane - 5.1
ATT - Blackburn - Anthony Modeste - 5
ATT - Newcastle - Papiss Cisse - 7
ATT - QPR - Djibril Cisse - 6.5

Think im going to bring in Keane for Welbeck and maybe bring Taiwo in too.

Strong team for this GW

Are you keeping hold of Valencia or bringing somebody else in later today?

I'm thinking of doing;

Option #1:
Sorensen  Schwarzer

Option #2:
Sorensen + Simpson/Santon   Krul/Schwarzer + Shotton

Which option would you recommend?

Seeing your second GK is Mignolet you might want to consider Al-Habsi aswell. They rotate quite well, Wigan is not Fulham but you save 0.3 that you can invest somewhere else, Wigan fixtures aint that bad and Habsi is better GK overall than Schwarzer imo (thus more saves, more pen saves).

Just did Sorensen  Habsi myself

@Pesh - I don't think I'll be bringing in any Wigan players... they're bad luck! :)

This is my team Pre-GW27 and the players which concern me atm...
Attached are also the options I'm considering...
All advice will be welcomed

Wait and see, possibly make 2 transfers next week. I don't see the point of bringing in other Man U players when Valencia could be fit for GW28 and may well be a season keeper. The defence should hold out for next GW. S'land game could yet make it back into GW29 which would mean Mignolet plays and not such a weighting on getting Schwarzer. I certainly don't see -4points as an option.

I have 2 available transfers as it says in the squad pic so no -4 hits were planned.
Anyhow, the red marks around Sorensen and Santon meant they're slightly more urgent than Valencia and Kelly (which I'll probably keep).

I was thinking of either bring in JEvans for Santon or doing a double of Sorensen&Santon to Krul&Shotton. :?

In that case, for similar reasons that it wouldn't be worth taking a hit if you only had 1 transfer, it's not worth making 2 transfers here IMO! Either could be fit/play next week and you'd wish you'd kept and had that spare transfer. However, with one to definitely use, I'd change Santon to J.Evans as you suggested, if there's some hint Evans should start.

WHats so urgent with santon? Hes not missing gw 29 for sure. If city misses it your in trouble. I got rith of bale last week cause of the missing gw, and bad fixtures + tottenham returnet to a 442 again. In my head he should be an option for the sack, even if he scored sensational well and is a quality player

Are there any hints Evans would not start? :o

I'm not sure about the Spurs 442 you mentioned and even if correct, Bale has become the single most important player in that team.

I was thinking of downgrading Silva to Yaya and then upgrading Valencia to AYoung or Nani, but Yaya was somewhat stuck in his holding mid role and less involved in scoring than Silva.
Still focused on the defence swaps, Evans being the most likely target, though not changing the Keeper and relying on Minoglet to made do is not very reassuring.

After Saha arrived he played 3 and scored 3 aside adebayor. Moving bale further back from the advanced supporting role for ade. Bale started the season poorly fpl wise, this was when he played in a winger role aswell. Therefore i dont see him as an essential keeper.

So Bale  Adam or Gerrard for me. ;)

Or solving the Sorensed issue, Al habsi seems to rotate well for mignolet

OK, I understand what you're saying about Bale being moved back, but he's still the single most important player for Spurs and undroppable FPL wise, not to mention the price difference of getting him back.
Re Liverpool players... I have not made my mind up yet about their fixtures and potential, though my initial gut feeling hints that it could well be MaxiR who emerges as the big winner as much as it can be Suarez or GJohnson. Too much unpredictability and Adam would not be my first choice.

Anyhow... we have a wee bit of a storm in Israel in the last few days, mostly wind with scattered rains, but the winds have really been ferocious. Look at what happened to this poor GK at some low-level local club game...

Still stuck with price dropping Valencia and 2 Newcastle defenders...

How about;

Santon  Shotton
and
Valencia  Pienaar
