All through the week the commentators were talking about how deliberate Woods was being - but it's not often you hear about the clock coming out at a Major.

Shall I, or not? Best leave it.

I was impressed that they finished by midnight, I was expecting it to be closer to 1am.

Interesting.......watching the front 9 of the final round, I was tempted to come & post the question of whether the biggest threat to Westwood & Mickelson could come from being held up, as I noticed they were getting very close to the Woods/Choi pairing.

I've just read that Woods/Choi were put on the clock on the 12th, which Choi says ended with him rushing and his challenge subsequently deteriorated. All through the week the commentators were talking about how deliberate Woods was being - but it's not often you hear about the clock coming out at a Major.

Strange then that Mickelson/Westwood were over a hole behind playing 18. Woods & Choi had holed out before they teed off :?

Maybe not so strange - they had had 6 holes to get a shift on!

Seems like Mickelson had quite a weekend:

Quote:
As if he wasn't burdened enough, Mickelson's eldest daughter, Amanda, broke her wrist while rollerskating on Saturday night. Mickelson took her to hospital for x-rays at 10pm, and reported that he got to sleep at 1am.

Gutted he won, as I only had him in one team and had money on Westwood, but delighted for him nevertheless :D

Why all the talk about Manassero?

You guys make him sound like the 2nd coming of El Nino

Well, Kdub isn't gracing us with his chat at the moment, but as I write, Manassero has opened up a 2-shot lead with 3 to play (having birdied his last 3 holes) at the Castello Masters.

Suffice to say, he is no longer in any of my OFL teams

Yes, he's now definitely ahead of Garcia in terms of what he's achieved before the age of 18...

Pricing him next year could be a tough proposition (certainly don't expect a bargain!), although he's possibly not a longer enough hitter (yet) to compete on some courses.
