It doesn't matter how much either film gets trashed, I'll still be seeing them. I did like the way they've done the dwarf song and it building, hopefully there won't be as much singing as in the book mind you.

I was thinking maybe being this early theres still some stuff in the trailer to be finished in post. (at least I hope so) What I want to see is Smaug, but he'll be the money shot kept until the very end.

Given the film is still a year away, did anyone expect a lengthy interesting trailer?

I'd have settled for not looking like cheap facemasks.
