Could be back in january :D

Looks like sealing a 2 month loan. Makes perfectly sense with Gervinho and Chamahch leaving for the ACON.

Most importantly, for now. Im thinking RvP could be more likely to start this weekend, seeing Wenger giving him a rest when Henry becomes available

Just hope he dosnt come in at 14 mill again

Thoughts?

Not sure I agree with this, given that Gervinho and Chamakh will be available this weekend, not to mention Walcott should return from his hang-over. Henry's imminent arrival should not make any difference to which game Van Persie "might" sit out this weekend.

Saying that, do we thinking Henry will take some of Van Persie's points in coming weeks?

Saying that it's a shame he isn't playing this weekend cos it'be interesting to see how keen he'd be to 'assist' RVP in breaking his own record

Sounds like last year's Lehnmann signing...

I honestly don't want Henry back. He was a superb player, top 10 striker in the last 20 years. I want to cherrish a memory of him in that way, not cameo apperances and out-of-breath running and commentators saying "not a shadow of a former Arsenal player".

One should retire as a legend, like that guy did 14 years ago and said: "I'm not a man, I'm Cantona".

If Henry comes back it will be as a impact player coming off the bench.

34 goals in a callendar year for Arsenal. He's equalled Henry's record but needs 1 more to beat it whereas he needs 2 to equal Shearer's premiership record of 36 or 3 to beat that

I'd prefer Henry joining in as backup, and basically saying, 'I'm not a legend, I'm a fan'.

I know which I'd prefer.

Yeah, might not be much for neutrals, but heartwarming for fans. Henry taking the risk of letting his reputation suffer, just to help his team out!
