WOOOOHOOOOO

The Camels resurgence over the smelly skunks has been accomplished with success!!!

WITH JUST ONE POINT DIFFERENCE!!!

After being a 16 point behind in the first leg due to the crazy skunks stinking up the pitch,,, the camels came back with a stampede to win it at the last minute by an odd ONE point!!!

Camels 120 - 119 Skunks

VIVA CAMELS!!!

No Vinny,

I did not make any extra transfers during the 2 legs against you,,, my previous transfers in GW2 and 3 do not count here. So I guess this will be another tie in extra time.

It's going to break this tie with the spot kicks!!

i guess this is down to jay to sort out :?

although the way i see it over the 2 gws i made 1 transfer to ur 2? cos i used my wildcard in the first week?

if scores are level after the round then the following criteria will be used to determine the winner of the tie:

1. Transfers. A team with the LEAST number of total transfers made across both GWs of the tie, will progress to the next round.
2. Goals. If transfers can’t separate the two, then the team that scores the most number of GOALS across both GWs of the tie, will proceed to the next round.
3. Bench. If by some horrible quirk of fate the teams are still level then the team whose BENCH scores the most number of points across both GWs, will progress to the next round.
4. Toss. If scores are still level at this point, the lovely Mrs Riddle will toss me, errr, a coin, with the team name that comes first alphabetically being Heads.

I'm sure my bench beats yours since I have Smertin sitting there.

But I guess we'll have to go to goal difference first

Right. I have mucked up here in not making things clear if the Wildcard is used - mainly because I am stupid, but also because I found it difficult to see this would ever happen. Nonetheless, I should have considered the Wildcard this season.

However, I feel that the use of the Wildcard can't be discounted completely - and, genuinely, if I was relooking at how to word the rules, I would state that the use of the WC equals a single transfer.

That means you are both level on points as well as transfers. So, looking at the second tiebreak ruling - goals.... Lovely_Camel scored 6 goals to vinny's 5. Now, no offence L_C, but to get me out of a hole due to vinny having used the WC, I really hoped that vinny had scored more goals, meaning he would have won, whichever way the Wildcard was viewed... but that is not the case, and I feel that Lovely_Camel should go through to Round 3.

sorry but im gonna be a slapped arse and say i dont agree with this! on my history it says i have made 1 transfer to his 2! the fpl has me down as no transfers as i used my wild card, but if that is ur final desision i will have to accept it.

I would say that a WC week should count as zero transfers... as it does in the real game.

I know vinny, I know - and I feel sh*t for having to make a decision. But, if you look at your Transfer History which, after all, is what we are discussing, it shows you having made a whole page worth of changes, compared to LCs 2. I can't see it being at all fair that the Wildcard, having been used, can be ignored.

I think that your argument is unfair vinny. You are playing with words to take advantage of the fact that Jonathan didn't mention the wild card as a transfer, when in fact it's a multi-transfer operation. The reason FPL & Jonathan are using the number of transfers as a tie breaker because it does give an advantage, and I think the same applies for wild card if not more.

Ohh boy you are one hell of a tinkerman vinny:

VIVA CAMELS!!!

are u sure i make it 119-119 with me makeing less transfers cos of the wildcard :? ?

:?

I think that your argument is unfair vinny. You are playing with words to take advantage of the fact that Jonathan didn't mention the wild card as a transfer, when in fact it's a multi-transfer operation. The reason FPL & Jonathan are using the number of transfers as a tie breaker because it does give an advantage, and I think the same applies for wild card if not more.

Ohh boy you are one hell of a tinkerman vinny:
