The risers lists the people most likely to go up in price when the game is updated around 3am - the fallers is the exact opposite.

Just another piece of pointless information is the fact that there were 1,060,000+ transfers between GW1 deadline and GW2 deadline.

Sorry, I don't understand this.

I've got NTO as 38,488 (season long transfers in and out: 1,784 - 40,272).

And then a target threshold of 32,823 (1,757,634 in the game, SEB owend by 8.3% therefore 145,883 own SEB. 22.5% (source: page 1 Flagged Playetrs).

Therefore SEB is already on 117% of the drop.

What have I missed?

The NTO figure you have looks right, however you can't calculate ownership now, the ownership figure needs to be taken at the start of the season.

In your example above his ownership is what 145,883 but that's his ownership after losing a load of managers.
His ownership at the start of the season was 185,130, and of that I'm expecting him to have to lose 25% of those managers (i.e. 46,282) of which he's already lost 35k-38k putting him around the 76% mark.

 I'm getting closer to working it out will probably have it sorted by the time CTC is working again.

Damn I feel stupid. Thank you ever so much for explaining it.

There's a good chance that RomynPG will have done so; he'll be along later I expect.

Only have a couple of snapshots before the season started so can't help here I'm afraid :(

Looks like D+ got what he needed though :)

Hi, thanks for the great info in this thread. For this season and last, before CTC has been up and running (or with a web front-end), I've been maintaining my own database, which I populate from the source of the transfers.mc page.

The question I have is: if the NTI count is reset after a player's value rises (so all transfers above the threshold are discarded), how do I know what his NTI was when his value rose? Is the only way to grab the data just before / after the price change happens?

For example, let's say the threshold is 25,000. A player gets 30,000 NTI. The price changes, and the 5,000 NTI over the threshold are lost. So for my calculation, I can't just say next price change will be: (NTI from the site) - (threshold * 2) because the 5,000 "lost" NTI's won't count.

Does this question make sense? As in - is there any way of knowing what the NTI actually was when the price rose or, for accuracy, do I have to try grab the data as soon as the change has taken effect?

Thanks for your help & sorry if I've sent anyone to sleep here!

Yes, you need the data as close to the price change as possible (and also whenever a player has a flag reset or changes clubs).

Okay, CTC is up and running.

I'm sure we're going to spot a few errors in the next few days, but hey, it's better than nothing!

One question though... towards the end of last season we switched the protection period from 7 to 10 days. Do we think that's still valid?

I think we established that the rise threshold is in the region of 25,000 - CTC showing just over 20,000 right now.

edit: forgot to add :D :D :D :D - cheers D+ :D

Hmmm...

I should warn you the FISO ftp upload is working at random. It may be that the updates later tonight fail. I'll have to keep an eye on that.

You could bung it up on the old awardspace address as a temporary measure...just went to check it was still there...lovely waft of nostalgia as I read the year-old data indicating Figueroa and Denilson heading for a rise

Sorry, but why Koumas and Drogba need 50k before they rise? They've risen 0.1 before this gameweek, didn't they? Btw, the GW numbers next to the players names on the price rise section is set to 38, all of them...

No, he's right. The only players whose rise thresholds should be around 50k are Fab and Modric. I can't see what the "GW numbers next to the players names on the price rise section is set to 38" means - I'm not seeing that here.

Now I see where I've gone wrong. It's not in the Price Rise section. It's "Price Changes". Duh...

Ah yes, I see that now. Wasn't looking on that page, it's just an archive of players whose price changed recently. The whole thing is very much work in progress, considering it hasn't been updated since 6pm.

I must be more confused than I thought. Can someone explain why Hunt hasn't either gone up or at least appear on the risers list?

True. I'm completely lost right now, and since I used my wildcard today, I really need to know what's going on... Defoe will rise today, won't he? What about Keogh and Drogba? I think I'll have a heart attack.

Hunt signed for Hull on the 13th August. Therefore, even if he was added at the earliest opportunity, his transfers won't count until 20th August (which is today). So you can forget about him rising until he has 25k more NTI than his current figure. And that's assuming FPL added him on the 13th. Furthermore, if
