Well to me it looks as if he isn't due to drop within the next hour or so.

I'll put off my decision. :?

He's roughly 40% towards a drop but that's coming down all the time. It's anyone's guess when he'll rise but he's nowhere near at the moment.

Simply answer is you can't predict! Not unless you know which transfers people are going to make over the course of the next 7.5 days. CTC gives you a daily % increase/decrease which should allow you guestimate if things continued at the same rate but that's as good as it's going to get.

Hi,

Is CTC updating at the moment?
I've checked a few times over the past few days and it seems to be stuck on "Stats last updated... Thursday 04 February 2010 13:00:15"

Thanks

Your computer could still have the old FISO server address in its local DNS Cache. FISO moved servers back around the 4th or 5th, if you still have a problem try purging the cache.

Why has Tevez dropped??!!!
Quote:
43.8% £9.4m Tevez Man City 693,644 -3234 (7.6%)

That was at 10pm!!! There is no way 55% transferred him out in 2 hours!

I didn't check CTC but my figures had Tevez at a 70%+ drop level at 4-5pm yesterday afternoon.

He finally went down with just short of -21,000.

CTC is way off. It has Diaby at around 46% towards a rise, but he's gonna rise tonight.

How did you know?

I can only assume this has been down to protection at some point as CTC has only recently changed from 10 days protection to 8.

Given that protection has been the exception rather than the rule recently how much work would it be to have two lists - one with protection applied and one without?

Or would that just confuse stupid people?

Yep, somewhere back up in this thread I suggested listing the NTIs for the players on the "Protected" list - there is plenty of room on the page and the calculation must be available - then people can (if they so desire) easily keep track of NTI pluses and minuses while a player is not on the main Rise/Drop lists. That amounts to the same thing as your suggestion, no?

Stupid people will be confused whatever you do...

Yep, that's along the same lines. Would provide the information to allow people to make a judgement.

So last night was another demonstration of FPL randomly doing things.

Dunne rose as he wasn't protected at all after his yellow card.
Tevez dropped because they didn't double his target NTO after his initial drop this GW

It does seem FPL are making mistakes this season, rather than that they've changed their criteria. You see this sometimes in their flagging of players.

Had to check Sky Sports News to work out what you were on about, but yes indeed. Time for a re-think.

A good demonstration of why you should leave your transfer decisions until the last minute and damn the price changes.

The explanation for the Collins & Valencia transfers is a simple one - the transfers were mainly made on Saturday morning, prior to the GW27 deadline.
