Not seen one of these on here, so thought I would start a thread.

It's not like I'm an ardent listener of Radio 3 but, as you get older in the molar, you start to check out other music. You then realise how many pieces of music have been used for TV theme tunes and more so, adverts.

I've only got a few compliations so far but gradually I intend to expand my collection.

Really like "Night on The Bare Mountain" by Mussorgsky. It's got everything.

Another of his hits that blows your socks off: Pictures At An Exhibition.

Along similar lines, check out Borodin: In The Steppes Of Central Asia.
