Ricardo's challenge seems to have dropped away, can Skiffer or anyone else make up the ground or is this now a two-horse race?

Best scores of the week for Topspur, who moves up to 4th, and Pilgrim Craig.

Another mad scramble for the deadline this morning - actually failed to get my transfers through in time on a couple of my other teams

Anyway, this was the one change today...

Hart
Richards
Walker
Warnock
Silva
Mata
Larsson
Bale
Dempsey
Adebayor  RVP
Aguero

Transfers Left: 11
Value of Team: £48m

Reasons for Transfers:
Why haven't I had RVP in this team all along??  He's in virtually all my other teams of course, but somehow each week I have convinced myself it wasn't a required change for this Egg team. Oh well, he's in now (for the misfiring Adebayor), and not a moment too soon, judging by the way the first half against Blackburn has gone today.

One change for me today.

Lindergard  De Gea

Only took him out last week then old Ladygarden or whatever he's called got injured. Too early in the morning to think too hard about it so just brought old donkey back in.

Chuck, I think Torres' record against Man Yoo is good isn't it? Then again there's a potential to do that miss again.

Seem to have said this before on this thread, but you seem to be jinxed with injuries, Dude!

Brought in Ade for Sturridge tonight for all the good it did me. 13 left I think.

Chuck, will let you have Torres to yourself (for now)

It'll be the Chelsea XI v the Spurs XI by the time we're done with our transfers.
I'm already thinking of how to put right my awful decision yesterday. Hoping Torres gets a game versus Birmingham.

And here's the update.

The leaders are setting a hot pace and the pack is getting stretched out. Chuck now leads Jag by 47, Skiffer by 86 and everyone else by 100+.

Best score of the week was Pilgrim Craig, who continues to move up the rankings.

Further tinker this evening...

Hart
Richards
Walker
Warnock  O'Shea
Silva
Mata
Larsson
Bale
Dempsey
RVP
Aguero

Transfers Left: 10
Value of Team: £48.8m

Reasons for Transfer:
Warnock/Villa defence a bit rubbish and Sunderland playing well and have the cup game(s), so O'Shea seems a good choice - as a regular starter he hopefully won't just be getting an "O'Shea" each week

OK, here's an update of the full table (this includes the extra points from the FA Cup game last night).

Let's start with the cut and paste from the Telegraph site...
1 Russell Cane Chuck Egg Splat 1155 2 68 2884
2 James AndersonGordon Jagduracell Egg Xi 1113 7 72 9441
3 Rick Perkins Skiffer And Chips 1076 9 59 21824
4 David Nuttie Hard Boiled Hotpot 1051 7 54 34320
5 Daniel Watters Muldoons Fiso Egg 1043 5 52 38957
6 Andrew Clayton Egg Cup Latic 1035 12 57 43960
6 Paul Branigan Topspurs Omelette 1035 12 55 43960
8 Craig Rogers Egg On Face 1033 12 57 45311
9 David Rich Count Basie Swingers 1017 0 55 56088
10 Richard Vallance Ricardo3s Golden Egg 1009 0 58 61740
11 Jonathan Harrington The Dudes Eggstatic 999 9 59 68955
12 Ross Banyard Scrambled Hog 998 0 59 69681
13 Ian Wallace Hogmeister Eggs Xi 989 7 49 76455
14 Ian Buckley Billybluenose Eggs X 985 7 58 79595
15 Steve Legg Reds Benedict 975 9 45 87366
16 Paul Grinstead Arightmixup 945 0 40 110732
17 Steve Clemente Clemo Eggs Xi 890 0 39 150528
18 Sonia Brown Egg Cup Browney18 702 2 26 232175

And the full table is below. As usual, discrepancies from undeclared transfers are in red text.

Presumably Reds363 and Hotpot have just not yet got around to declaring the Sunderland players (McLean and Sessegnon respectively) they brought in yesterday.

Up to now the only two persistent offenders, as mentioned last time, are Pilgrim Craig (who again has some new ones he hadn't declared) and Browney18. However it now looks like Billybluenose is joining this serial offenders list, as for the second time running he has some undeclared transfers.

Other than that, everything looks fine.

Seems like the title is now a 2 (or maybe 3?) horse race, while Paulgrinny has taken the lead in the Tinkerman trophy (just 8 transfers left), closely followed by Dude on 9. At the other end of the scale, Ricardo3 seems to have forgotten about this team, keeping Suarez and Young through their extended absences and crashing down to 10th place. But with both of them now back, and 26 transfers left, he could yet make something of a late charge up the table.

Let me know if you spot any mistakes.

Yep sorry, made change right before kick-off on Wed, have been away with just iPhone app for transfers, no FISO as I find it a pain to log in on iPhone and post.

Reina
Baines
Walker
Warnock
Van Der Vaart
Silva
Valencia  McClean
Sessegnon
Van Persie
Adebayor
Sturridge

Transfers Left:- 11
Value of Team:- 47.7m

Reasons for Transfers :-
Will be either a 4-1, or season-long cheapie to keep and allow Warnock or a striker to be upgraded. Valencia may or may not come back for Silva on the 26th if not for McClean.

Have taken one for the team this morning. Brought Micah Richards in for Glichy to leave me with 12.

A bit of a waste but overall Richards gets more game time and is more attacking and the real reason is to mirror Neath Boys team so that I guarantee a Div 3 super cup winner (assuming he hasn't made any last minute changes and I have got my maths right up to now which is not guaranteed!)

Took my eye of the ball over the Cup comp over the last few or so, am still in Cup and chasing a hefty 14 point deficit and with only 2 playing against my opponents 4. Ummed and arred about if i should concentrate on Cup or try for a good league finish. Concluded that my best shot of any glory was still in the Cup but kind of only did it half heartedly :? Fool.

I was annoyed that I held Lennon who has not played for weeks and I know he is bound to feature and score well next week but with my Cup deficit it can't wait....So in a move only an idiot would do and I'm sure I'll look back on and ask 'what was I thinking' I have today done....

Cech
Wilson
Walker
O'Shea
Silva
Mata
Walcott
Bale
Lennon  Fletcher
RVP  Keane
Aguero

And I hope its gone through, I've already had an EGG transfer not count this season due to the rubbish server speed :( and I again had the egg timer of death today for a while, transfer history confirms it was done at 1.30.06 so I will have to wait to see (I could'nt see a smiley for 'pray to any listening God') if they even count, by tomorrow morning I could look like a grade A plonker of the highest order. Good luck Bilybluenose anyway.

And good luck Jag too, looks like you pulled back a hefty deficit, against the leader of the Egg Prem no less, go Div 3.

You are through. I didn't transfer as I need to think of league as my number one priority.
Thought I had done enough until Adebayor came with that score from left field!
Well played and good luck!

Thanks NB, just felt that I had to give us Div 3 boys something to shout about and we are a lot more liberal with our transfers than you experienced premiership lot! Good luck for the rest of the season and I hope you win your league!

Updated table.

Pace at the top is relentless - best score of the week with 78  is Jag, so he closes on leader Chuck... who had the second highest score of the week! There's then a 50-point gap back to Skiffer in third place.

RE Chuck Taylor

Hogmeister has Pmed me to let me know that CT has been banned for stuff on the Sky mini league forum. I am not going to get drawn on the rights and wrongs but personally I have no problem here with CT and see no reason that should he wish to continue then he should be allowed. Hog has said he will post his transfers for him via email.

However, wrt to next year unless he is able to rejoin Fiso I can't see how he can play as it would be unfair to expect Hog or someone else to post his transfers for a whole season. This competition does require you to be a member as it is an open league, not a closed cash league.

Any problems with that please PM.

OK so trying to repair some of the damage done to this team by me in the last round of the Cup  . Will surely regret not putting RVP back in but fancy Sunderland to win the battle of the Somme up north today.

So I've gone for the buck toothed wonder the whole world loves to hate at the moment, reckon he has a point to prove between now and the end of the season. And also as I've probably got the least amount of transfers left I want to sit tight for a month and so with my other one I'm doing something different and going for Holt. Man Utd next week aside Norwich have a good run of fixtures for the next month and he seems a good differential and is on a good bit of form.
