That is so funny......I suppose thats half the fun of this league, you are going need a few costly players to meet the 40m requirement and prey if the do get a game they have a shocker and not the complete opposite which has clearly happened with the bos.

I selected Fabio and then discovered Evra was injured but thankfully WBA scored :!:

I like this league but could do with some updates. In the interim, using pencil and paper, not an excel spreadsheet I've drawn up the scores (don't shout at me if I'm wrong on any as I don't want a full time job!). Also noted the number of 50pts+ scorers in the next phase (eg a Zhirkov or Dzeko IMHO) to see who has problems, even before deadline day.

Is someone doing this properly ? I hope Jules hasn't lost interest :wink:

IMHO
Arteta (16pts 1game) and on anything like current form Agbonlahor (10pts) will get 50 more pts between now and the end of the year. Might be wrong but not by much, and lets not even mention Jonny Evans !

Hi topspur, I've not lost interest, but I have lost regular access to a computer, and to my spreadsheet of all the teams. I'm now living out of a suitcase in Australia but haven't started my new job yet, so haven't got a laptop to do all the updates. An Internet cafe just isn't the place to spend an hour sorting out a new spreadsheet!

I should have the laptop on Monday, so hopefully I can do an official update some time then. Until then, thanks for working it out manually!

Injury length announced after the list was made so go ahead and pick him. He still gets points for November and December though when he comes back which was double the reason for me getting rid of Coleman.

ChrisMar is right, Wilshere's injury wasn't suspected to be too long, but after I published the list he then confirmed he'd be out a couple of months. I can imagine he'll be a popular pick to bring in...

Some people have been stung by penalties - marked with a * per penalty (hence Mad Dog had two). It's tight at the top, with 6 teams within 10 points of the leader, topspur.

Crazy, this team is doing better than my Elite team.
