Nah, I live in Lowestoft and I'm a fan of Lowestoft Town (season ticket holder) and Liverpool FC (supported for 25 years now). I do like to see Norwich do well though and it was great to seem them get promotion last year, as they played some good football.

You live in Norwich then?

I have a lot of family in yarmouth and i have been to lowestoft many times. very nice, as is gorlston? i think it was. my uncle ernie owns the potterie in yarmouth, and my family owns hotels there. ill be making a trip very soon, and im thinking of doing a bypass 3 mile from norwhich city center to show dan what a real mad dog is like :) ( banter)

I know you wasnt dire cting it specifically at me, but mad dog in his wisdom assumed it was me, because he has some second hand wrong information. I wasnt slagging zimmerman and i take offence to being miss represented by dan.

if all the mods are interested in who is the best for this year so far 2010, can i have a link of the active mods, as half the time i dont know who is one and who isnt, and ill do a poll. plenty different people have their favourites.
or a poll asking who do fiso users think is the most helpful person on fiso, mod or user if that specific mod poll on its own might cause offence or unwated aggrevation. I dont know all the mods names but i would add zarch, jules to my list aswell as bloggie, jpk and any non mod who someone can ask me to put on the list, and keep it sun dream team thread only if this was applicable?

I used to live near The Organ Inn and that was a much funnier name (I don't think it was intentional either).

I also drive past The Swan Inn regularly which I find amusing although others don't......

their are gangs of them in my area, and they congregate half way to the route to my shops. that would be out the question bud. they chopped a jamaican guy in the sholder with an axe about a year ago, and are violent beyond extreem bud. they out number the indigenous population by my place bud.

It's quite easy to find out who the Moderators are Nick. If you go to the Index Page it's about 5 Topics down from the top. group39033.html

Mod Usernames are also highlighted in Green on the Forum.

FS Record: Day 1: I can win this thing. 17/10/11 Still in with a squeak:)
Every year I seem to go through the same stages of pre season Dream Team selection. Normally involving early ease elation to confusion and last minute blind, sweaty panic.

1) It all seems so easy when the players list first appears. I will just have him and him and him, it is all so easy :)

2) Oh that's a shame the team is 0.5M over budget, but that shouldn't be a problem, if I just take him out and replace him with him, there you go. But I really wanted him with him. Hmmm this is going to be a little tougher than I thought, but just a little.

3) Day off.

4) Could do with some advice. Log in to Fiso to find out that most of my players, apart from the obvious, are in fact shite.

5) Ok vfm think vfm C.Gordon seems a fair bet....6 hours later Gordon breaks arm. It has always been my downfall that I appear to be attracted to the players that get mangled very early on. And this year Gordon was the first on my team sheet (apart from the obvious) at least it happened before the season began this time, maybe things are looking up.

6) Tell the missus that I wont go on and on about Dream Team this year.

7) Go on and on to the missus about Dream Team, blah first pick broke his arm just hours after I picked him blah Lampard, Gerrard always, blah blah.

8) Starting to get a bit desperate and confused so carry the the players list with me everywhere I go, in case I find myself facing the perfect compass direction, and at the right altitude and temperature for my brain to function to its max. Pretty sure I have never found this though.

9) Which is where I am at the moment.
I Use every possible blank piece of paper I come across to write teams on. Backs of letters, in between lines of letters, rizzla papers, toilet roll (only use felt tip pens for this though) round the margin of newspapers, betting slips while waiting for my selections to go. I was on the bus the other day and the woman in front of me had the blank side of her label sticking out of her top, she has got a Dream Team on there now

So confusion is where I am now, just too many choices I guess. But for once I want to avoid the blind sweaty panic ( and save it for those barmaids at the Dog Inn  ) and enter them early this year. Unfortunately though I am a last minute man and can't count this out.

I think I was on the bus before you. Her label just said "C&A" then.

I spent the whole journey wondering what mad striker combo she was planning. Crouch & Anelka?????

I think the woman next to her was even barmier. I think she was planning on McFadden & Saha!

Like I mentioned does no-one keep a scrap of paper and a pen by their bed incase they wake up in the middle of the night with some inspired stuff

I had an actual dream last night of who to pick and a couple of players appeared in that dream so have subsequently made it into my dreamteam  ( that'll teach me to be checking the playerlist before I went to sleep )

On a serious note...

I think this is the first summer, I've done away with paper!

When planning dream teams, that is! Not when on the khazi!
