So, I thought I'd have a stab at creating my own side game. This is aimed at all of those people (like myself) who registered too darn late for the other knockout cup or we're knocked out . What Do You Think?

Rules

A Standard Knockout Tournament (1 Leg, Not 2)
Each Leg Lasts 1 Game Week
The length of the tournament depends on how many people apply
In the case of a draw between two teams...the winner will be the player whose players scored more goals. Should This also be a tie, the winner will be the person whose captain got most points. If This is also a tie, the winner will be the person who made least transfers on that gameweek.

To Enter...

You Must Not Have Entered The Other Cup (I Can Check!), Unless You Were Knocked Out In The First Round

The Deadline For Entry Is 24th August 2007 3PM GMT+1
The First Week Of The Competition Will BE Gameweek 4
I Will Randomly Make The Draw Before Each Game Week

This Is The Final Rule Change.

I have decided...once and for all....that this competition is open for anyone who didn't register for the other knockout cup or was knocked out in the first round. NOBODY ELSE MAY JOIN

Unlike the other cup, you are not immidiately entered into the cup, you must post your team details on this forum....The first draw will be made Friday 24th August 2007

Perhaps We Could Even Have The Winners Of Both Knockout Cups Compete Against Eachother In A Super Cup Style Match At The End....?!

GW4 - 11 Matches (2Player's In Each)
GW5 - four 2 Player Matches
one 3 Player Match (Randomly Decided)*
GW6 - two 3 Player Matches **
GW7 - The Final

* 2 Player'sGo Through
**1 Player Goes Through

This Is How I've Decided The Tournament Will Be Best Run...Keep Complaining To A Minimum....

It's an interesting idea, but maybe wait for a short while until more people have been knocked out? That way you'd have more people able to join. Not many missed out on the deadline for Jonathan's cup, so you are mostly going to get people knocked out, like myself.

My season goes from bad to worse, I dont even qualify for this, I got beat by 11 points :roll:

Nice Idea Kudos! Good Luck With It. You May Notice I Am Typing Every Word With A Capital Letter. I Am A Trained (But Rusty!) Touch Typist And I Find It Very Hard To Do! Do You Have A Piece Of Software That Does It For You? :lol:

LAME! I can't enter this either I got beat by 26 points even with me getting 88!! Managed to come up against the highest scorer in the competition..... yes i'm bitter, can you tell? :twisted:

Do You Think I Should Change The Rules Of This Competition Slightly To Permit The Best Losers To Enter.... Something Like 80 Points Plus Or Beaten By 11 Or Less
