With many of us wildcarding and a handful of players all currently in a similar price-bracket, who of these four are the best choices for the coming weeks?

Nani (10.5): Always has the potential to score very high in a game. Man Utd due a backlash, but tough fixtures ahead.
Silva (10.4): Doubts over fitness and not wuite as potent in recent weeks as previously.
Gerrard (10.5): Back in, takes the pens, looking mroe attacking, attracts the bonus points.
Aguero (11.1): Often subbed off after 70 mins but still only behing Ba and RvP in points scored.

Who will you be putting your faith in?

I currently have Nani and Silva but will be ditching both and bringing in Aguero when I wildcard (probably next week). Unless Nani gets 20 points this weekend ofc...

another con of Aguero is that he can't seem to deliver away from home.

I think you may be proved very wrong & may be eating your words come the end of GW21, I can feel a hat-trick coming for Aguero v Wigan (A).

Aguero (C) for me!

van Persie, Gerrard and Rooney for me, Rooney is a streaky player, he's started scoring again now, time to jump back on.

No bale in the poll? He's the highest scoring midfielder in the game. He would get the vote for me.

Nani, Aguero, Silva will be in my team for the season unless they pick up a 4+week injury.

I feel like ive missed the boat on Bale and think VDV(assuming he'l still take penalties) is now better value given their respective prices. I might move him out soon though given a few tough fixtures.

Dont see how vdv is better value than bale. He is more expensive and has fewer points and less ppg? :?

Bales had an outstanding season for sure but I still think VDV will outscore him this season(again assuming he still takes the pens). If Bale was still 8mil id obv choose him but with just 0.4 between them im now happy to stick with VDV.

Adebayor is on pens now. Ive noticed that vdv plays very deep now. Think you should bite the bullet and get bale. Even when vdv was on pens, bale has outscored him. I just dont see what evidence there is to suggest vdv will still outscore him, especially with vdv's next injury round the corner.

Just my own general hunch really. I think Bale has performed above his expectation so far this season. I still think VDV is more likely to pick up points going forward but if he is def off penalties i will look to swap.

I think Bale has not really performed above expectation, it just happens to be he is allowed to play more central and therefore gets in these central positions of attack more and more and therefore scores more FPL points than previous seasons, whether these points are through goals or assists.
