OK, here's confirmation of the 9th FISO Golf day

Date: It’s on Fri 15th July

Where: at Staverton Park. Location here.


Overnight stay required? Late Rooms have lots of options.

Cost: just £25 for 18 holes, including coffee and a bacon roll before we tee off .

Time: Looking to tee off around midday.

Buggies are available, contact course direct if you wish to book (0844 980 2417).

I know that it's very short notice but I was trying to arrange something for May to give us something to look forward to prior to the Annual and I came up with this deal based on 2 people sharing a twin room..

Windmill Village Hotel and Golf Club ***, 1 Nights Dinner, B&B, 2 Rounds of Golf ...... PLUS £100 Bar Credit for Groups of 8 or more. Cost from £89pp It would be one round of Golf on Sunday the 15th and one round on Monday 16th after breakfast.

The only problem is that I would have to book it ASAP so I'm just trying to gauge opinion, but I would really need to know by Monday how many are interested and if it's worth while going ahead. It's in Warwickshire so it might help some of you 'Southerners' acclimatize for the Annual in July. Even if you stay within travelling distance it might still be better to take the overnight offer considering what is included in the price.
