These rules are pretty simple but are subject to change if I've missed anything. Please sign up below if you would like to join in.

Due to the T&Cs on the TFF site this is only open to residents of the UK, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Northern Ireland (unless you can find a way around it).


Rules
(1) You will enter a team into both competitions and then join the respective leagues set up by me. I will need a PM or a post on this thread from each member that contains their team names.
(2) The game rules and scoring set up by TFF and FPL will apply to your respective teams throughout the season.

Entry Deadline:
TFF: 12:45pm (British Summer Time) on Saturday, August 15
FPL: 11.30am (British Summer Time) on Saturday, August 15

Any entries after these deadlines will not be entered into the competition and removed from the league.

League Codes:
League codes will be sent to everyone interested once they are set up.

TFF League:
This will be a closed league so that it represents the typical way TFF is played. ie. You will not be able to see other players' teams like you can in FPL.

Gameplay:
Each week your teams' scores will be combined into a Superleague that I will post on FISO. Your TFF score will be factored up by 1.2 to equal out the scoring systems.
Gameweeks will be based on the TFF structure (see below).

Gameweeks:
The combined league will be posted after the final match is played and scores updated by TFF and FPL in each week.
Gameweeks will be based on the TFF GW rules - Tuesday to Monday throughout the season.
The first update will be on Monday 17th August and then on the following Monday or Tuesday after that (dependent on there being a Monday night game in the EPL).

Combo Cup:
Later in the season I will set up a knock-out competition to run alongside the main Superleague - Just to keep your interest up!!!

Just play TFFO(SM) instead. It is the perfect blend of TFF purity and FPL squad management

There is no better way to judge an FF player IMO (assuming you can disqualify any multi entrants with an animal fetish) (I hope it goes without saying that there is no bias based on my personal performance in any of the games within this thread or post)

Incidentally, how are you doing in TFFO (SM) this year Murf?

If I was going to be biased by the comps I've done well in this season I'd have to change this sidegame to the TFF/CYKI Combo next season!!!

FWIW I actually think CYKI is a better game than TFFO

I think we should all retrospectively pay £100 for this seasons comp, and pay out 1st all the way down to 2nd, what do you think zipnolan ?

Next season it would be good to have a bit of cash on it if the majority agree...

Pretty good idea actually but count me out if you do though. I play FPL purely for fun, and I lose enough money on TFF as it is.

Cash is something that we could discuss for next season but all I can guarantee for this year is that the top 3 will get a Medal - even if it's only a virtual one.

Definitely - would prefer to play for cash though.

You could always have a cash sub-league to the main combined league (ie: everyone joins the leagues, then each person decides whether to pay into the pot, the cash going to the top 1/2/3 of those who paid)

I wouldn't want to put people off from FPL or TFF that don't want to pay a fee just to play.
