TFF/FPL Combo League Tables - 2010/11

Hi all

I've finally sorted this all out and have worked out all the scores.

Here are your positions after the first week of games. It's early days yet - although I seem to have settled into my usual position in mid-table. :lol:

This year I'm boosting up your TFF points a bit more than I did last season.

Basically your weekly TFF points will be multiplied by 1.4 when I total up the combined points from each game.

I decided to do this because the difference based on last year's final scores was a bit skewed in favour of the FPL scoring system. Hopefully things should be more equaled out this season.

Anyhoo... Thanks to all of you for joining up - especially the newcomers - and the best of luck with your teams this season.

I've indicated who I know that are in Spencer4's cash league but I know more will join it... so I'll just edit that bit as people pay up (including me).

That is actually the standings based on last season's 'TFF factor' which was lower. TFF points x1.2 instead of x1.4

Some hope for me yet then! :lol:

This is the Champions League... To do well in this side comp, you have to be very, very good at fantasy football. :wink:

Look where I finished and I run the whole thing... so if I could I would. :wink:

It's the reason I've had to adjust the scoring. Anyone that did a bit better in FPL got a higher rank when combined with the TFF scores of others in the league.

Hopefully things should even out a bit more this season...

You still have to do well in both to succeed though. Which Hjr did with aplomb last season. He played a great season to be fair.

Just to give you newcomers an idea of how things can change... here is the league just before Xmas last year.

Hjr is still top but it's much, much closer than it was come May. He was only leading by 22pts which is nothing in this game.

He kicked on... others around him fell away but it shows that there can be big swings in places.
