Looks like we started a thread at the same time DerbyNige!

BREAKING TEAM NEWS: Striker Fernando Torres starts up front for Chelsea while Gary Cahill continues to wait for his first start as Branislav Ivanovic and David Luiz start in defence.
BREAKING TEAM NEWS: Wolves' on-loan midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong makes a quicker-than-expected return to the starting line-up, while striker Kevin Doyle is on the bench.
BREAKING TEAM NEWS: Wigan striker Hugo Rodallega, out of contract in the summer and linked with a move away from the DW Stadium, is left out of Roberto Martinez's match-day squad for the match against Tottenham.
BREAKING TEAM NEWS: Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard is rested for the trip to Wolves, Craig Bellamy and Andy Carroll start up front.

And Phils69 - great minds all thinking alike!

And in other news.... Thought with a youth policy you try and get some benefit before you cash in....someone turn the lights out  :(

BBC Radio Nottingham understands that Chelsea are set to sign 18-year-old striker Patrick Bamford from Nottingham Forest for about £1.5m. Bamford has only played two first-team games but has been in prolific form in the FA Youth Cup this season, and Chelsea were one of a number of clubs to take note.

Nice text to the BBC (I won't claim the credit)-

from NUFC

Alan Pardew has confirmed that United are expecting their Senegal strike pair Demba Ba and Papiss Demba Cisse to return on Thursday of this week, extinguishing any hopes that either or both could feature at Ewood Park.

The duo will now come into consideration for Sunday's Premier League home game with Aston Villa, Ba having missed two league fixtures and two FA Cup ties.

2-0 Modric - text sounds like that is bracket free due to some ping pong and a clearance

Chelsea losing 1-0 Sinclair (Sigurdsson?)

EDIT - sounds like NO KC - Scott Sinclair reacts quite brilliantly when Jose Bosingwa's duffed header from Gylfi Sigurdsson's corner falls his way.

That puts paid to that then! He's the only player playing tomorrow who I was considering as a replacement for VDV. Maybe best to wait for him to settle back into the Premier League anyway?

Sinclair (Sig Icelandic bloke)

Don't know why but I love it when Chelsea conceed a goal, its just the thought of the price of that Chelsea block.

Good to see one of their young players come back to haunt them

Here comes the strangest post of the season possibly!

Someone has handcuffed themselves to the post at the City game and the game has had to be stopped!

This is possibly the strangest thing I've ever seen in a football game! He won't be going anywhere very fast by the looks of it!

Chaos at Goodison as a man seemingly handcuffs or ties himself to a goal post.

You can't make it up
